$350 per person a man say there yes.  WT-actual-F!?

Me and the madam had a very nice meal yesterday  for about $332 TOTAL...and it included 2 different kinds of Buffalo wings, and a wicked rack of pork ribs, served with the usual sides, AND drinks.

This was at the aforementioned Hollywood Grill btw.

Some of those places mentioned are way too ridiculous with their prices.  In WHAT universe I could eat $350 of (reasonably priced) food by myself in one sitting?  Preposterous.

Hollywood Grill is in Chaguanas right?

That now sounding bad at all.

Now get slap for a $900 at Apsaras. Food was good but as you said....not really worth $900.00 and that was the Valentine's "special" mind you.

Value for money ftw. Hollywood here we come. lol

obviously you didn't go on Valentines day. lol

meals were 3-something each and came with a complimentary glass of wine.

Time you add vat and service charge on top of that, boom, reaching for 9-0-0

And the place was PACKED. At least 50 couples in there. You do the math.

cha ching

lol @ lambourghini. The only place I'm driving a lambourghini is in Test Drive the game.

I just read AMD-Dude's endorsement of Wok Hay / Hollywood Grill's Salmon.

That + Arcman's review has sealed the deal.

Definitely gonna hit that spot.

Wyatt boy, the stories i heard of corn soup, souce, doubles vendors eh. I am VERY cautious of who and whom i buy from for those particular things. Too many stories of underwear in the bottom of the bucket, no running water or indoor plumbing where its being made and the list goes on. Its true what doh kill you go make you stronger, but if im going to die, id like to know how XD

But not to derail the purpose of the thread.

Rustica in Trincity is a really nice pizza place and for the price, its not bad. Comfortably feed 3-4 people on one pizza for about $90 or so. Maybe 5-6 if its all females lol. The pizza is absolutely delicious. Flavour much richer richer than pizza hut, dominoes and papa johns.

Trader Jack's and well as J'Malones are good places with mid range pricing. Been there a few times and i always enjoy my meals, never have any complaints, and the service in all 3 are at a good standard, in my experience of course.
TYVM Virtue i tried the pizza today from remembering this tread it was absolutely delicious. Pizza made with a brick oven i believe for $85 i got a BBq chicken pizza 8 slices....had 5 1/2 right there...not very fulling but tasty none the less

Like rebirth, took your advice given in this thread and hit Hollywood Grill at Price Plaza with the family today.

10/10

Excellent food (had the caribbean fish and a full rack of ribs)

Excellent service

and the price wasn't half bad either. About $400 to feed three adults and two kids.

thanks for the heads up!

Niceness.  They will be seeing me on a REGULAR basis in the future.

I feel the kitchen have a special stove labeled 'EPIC WIN', and only RIBS cooking on it.   :laughing7:
