And if there wasn't an Xbox, could u imagine the state of the industry now? We'd just have the Wii U and PS4. And PS4 I guarantee, wouldn't be as good as it is now, Competition forces companies to put forward their best work.

If it wasn't for Sony, Microsoft would be raping everybody with DRM  now. And if it wasn't for XBL, you wouldn't be enjoying all the free games you currently are on PSN.

It will be extremely bad for gamers if either PlayStation or Xbox die.

Choice as consumers are our greatest weapon, remove that, and just give us 1 option, and yUh have to spread cheeks to accept deeper ramming.

have COD/BF4/AC4 on both PS4/XOne...approx take 20 mins to install.

In 5 mins on both you can play campaign. MP takes the rest of the time.

VERY skewed reviews from even sites doing visual comparison. Its hilarious that they use off the shelf software to test Framerate issues when dev is using in engine/cpu/gpu real time graphs.

Reviewers...review. Stop pretending to be dev. Same goes for community managers. FYI community managers say what they are told to say, they're and extension of marketing.

Yes, I don't think any gamer worth his salt doesn't already know that the PC platform is far superior than consoles.

Horsepower and Graphics wise.

Granted, that is on a US$1500 gaming machine and not your regular $399 bargain basement variety.

Still amazes me how much horsepower they can cram into those little machines at a giveaway price.

Earning them a spot in living rooms the world over.

A few more hoops to jump through, but upgrading the first-edition 360s' HDDs required similar shenanigans.

Not that hard to do...well, for a techie at least.

At that point warranty concerns are already out the door, but I'm glad it's actually possible.

Such a PC would not qualify for the master race and would become obsolete by "PC Gaming" standards in very short course.

I don't think a $500 PC could even breach the top 20 in our 3DMark leaderboard.
