Sheesh, that's some ps3 installing times there. Here is a summary of some of the results.
Need For Speed Rivals:
XBO: 09:25 (including update)

Ok, I now get time to reply to them times.

Alyuh need to understand exactly what you looking at with them times. That's the time it taking before the game playable, So it don't mean the PS4 installing the games to completion in a few seconds. Unless they using some Blu-Ray drive from the future that could copy shit that fast lol. So what's happening on the PS4, is a little bit of the game is installing, and I'm guessing the game is being played off the disc at that point (like PS3), so load times and access to everything will be slow. Because the PS4 will have to continue installation in the background, whiles feed you content from what you trying to access simultaneously. So PS4 working like a traditional disc-based game that doesn't require install, whiles installing in the background.

Xbox working different, Xbox not letting you play anything form the disc at all. So when the game is in playable form, they ensure what you're playing loads fast from the internal HD. Because they only providing you access to play what actual already copied to the HD. If you using an All-Digital system, the PS4 will work the same way. So if you buy Killzone digital, that wont be playable in 30 seconds. You'll still have to wait for the content to download.

So @ Wyatt, if you going disc-less, both consoles will work almost the same way. Which is how Steam works.

So @ Trinishaq, i wont call it steps backward, they just do it different, Sony provides the disc as playable media. MS always intended to do all-digital, so an Xbox One disc working mostly like a PC game, you can't actually play d game off the disc, is just installation media. Both approaches have their own advantages and disadvantages. But how kotaku put it across, yUh sware the PS4 installing a full game in 30 secs and Xbox taking 10min lol.

Anyways, for disc-less men, this wont matter either way. So you can relax now Wyatt lol.

Dan with ps4 while you playin you not even studyin what goin on in the background. Killzone a 34Gb game yuh download 7 gigs first then yuh could play it while the rest downoad. Doh even put it in the same boat with xbox system. Dat is last gen thing xbox on.

That's just one of many areas PS4 get pwn on. And this particular area wont even matter to the majority of people.

So you can take win on that feature, even being able to stream the game from disc whiles the rest happen in the background with limited speed mite be what people want.

But that is not no big feature that going to matter.

You install a game once and that's it. Who giving up Xbox features to get to start a game 5-10 minutes sooner?
And once both games installed, the launch times is d same on both consoles.

Camera quality fall in with camera mic quality-Would hope so since kinect is de thing pride and soul
Headset- ah doubt anything could be worse than wat sony give so yh
Hardware reliability- Xbox had so much wrong it sad,  some people own was smokin.
Features-like it have any worthwhile features, and if yuh count wat to come gaikai owns all
Resolution-Of course better hardware has that effect
Online-microsoft sites didn't crash on launch due to traffic? Knda weak for cloud power

I believe the article was understood. As I recall the lengthy install times and updates on the ps3 was an issue for many. I remember popping in mgs4 and not being able to play for over half and hour. I for one find it a big deal to pop in a game and be able play in under a minute. So while it may not be a big deal for you, many others in the gaming community may beg to differ.

Well actually that was a big deal for me too. Well, the part about updates anyways. I don't mind if the game take 10 minutes to install, that's perfectly fine, I could go get a drink and come back and it ready. 10 minutes is no issue Aral for a 1 time affair, even 15 would be fine. But the issue I had with old system is the UPDATES, lawd , having to wait and hr or more for a game to update just to play was rely gay.

But both consoles fix that issue with all digital content. So my Xbox going to work just like steam. Download game, and it always remain updated. So I know anytime I press play in the future, I don't have to wait.

But I guess if you still relying on discs, that minor 10 minute wait when you starting a new game could be irritating. But I don't see people rushing out in droves to fling way they Xbox for that feature.

NO one said it was an xbox killer lol, where you get that? It is however an advantageous feature that will turn a few heads. I wouldnt downplay the merits of this feature as many console gamers are not yet willing to enter this all digital download era.

Well the Xbox works exactly like it does on pc.... so for a Pc Gamer, its no different, no big deal to me..

And I tell alyuh aready when I does get defensive, I does get defense when I seeing cussing getting level for no reason. If its a good feature and something you want, great.
