The 'battle' will be won by the exclusives...of which I am sure there will be quite a few compelling ones to look forward to in 2014.

i feel bad for early adopters cuz now prob half of em never wanted it and were forced to take it
u sure as hell wont see games being pushed for it now that its not a mandatory thing, even tho there really hasnt been a good kinect game imo

i would of liked M$ keep the kinect and still lower the price that way early adopters arent shafted and devs could still be encouraged to make games for it knowing everyone still has a kinect.

ONLY way i see kinect being viable now is with M$ rumored VR headset they have in the works.

There were some epic games for kinect on original Xbox and it wasn't mandatory back then either.

There are tons more kinects out there this gen and certainly more to come....$49.99 for kinect 2.0 is a steal. It looks even more attractive now with the base system costing $399 minus kinect.

And totally agreed @ Wii u.

Mario kart 8 is on the horizon. Wii u looking more and more attractive.

My family had tons of fun with the kinect. It effectively retired the Wii in the living room.

Had some phenomenal fitness games on there as well.
