Still on the fence about this one. Needs to see various reviews before deciding whether or not to go see this. But it is about time we got a trailer.

MEH If I go to see a Bourne I want to see Jason Bourne

This is like having a James Bond Legacy movie that's

about the agent after Bond IMO totally stupid .....

Ah yes I was wondering when those comments would come :laughing7:

I don't really see how it's stupid. Renner looks to be playing an agent in a diff and possibly more intense program. This is an expansion to the "Bourne" universe. Seeing the word Legacy in the title is enough alone to let ppl know what they're gonna get. I don't need any reviews or such I just wanna see it to find out if they can successfully launch a new franchise in the same canon without piggybacking on the other movies too much.

Have to wait and see on this one. Will most likely hit it up in the cinema as Th Bourne Trilogy was one of my favourite set of movies.

On a side note, i wonder if this is why Norton did not play Hulk in The Avengers.

Lets see; we have a movie spawned from the original Jason Bourne series, we have Jeremy Renner, Edward Norton, some brief but cool looking espionage action with apparently no excessive CGI and then there's director Tony Gilroy who directed Michael Clayton (very badass movie) count me in I watching this milawds

Not bad but not better than the previous movies(not sure who was expecting that anyway). Good movie with good story and action just the pacing was off for me.

I recommend that viewers remember the events of the last 2 movies.

6.8/10

Was more dialogue heavy and takes place alongside Ultimatum's events but the action scenes were creative and Renner was good to watch kicking ass. One scene had me thinking Terminator.

Let me just say, I equate bourne as the american bond,
The thing that has, and always will stand out to me in bourne flicks is the fight choreography and 'improvisation' pwning with a pen is no easy task.
Legacy lived up to most expectations and I want to see LOTS more of this series. however it has to reach an end at some point....
4 ridiculous kills out of 5 for me

Though it is obvious what they setting up the next movie to be *hint *hint :D The crew even mentioned the possibility of that.

I found the pacing slow in between but then again I was sleepy too eh since I don't mind dialogue heavy movies anyway.

I found this film to be almost mediocre actually...and I love the Bourne trilogy, with Identity being my favorite.

Renner gives a good performance as Cross, but I found his character to be far less interesting than Jason Bourne himself. The movie starts off so slow, and scenes involving Cross and some other guy in a cabin had me wondering if this movie was actually Brokeback Mountain 2 in disguise.

Then there is the writing in this movie. The original three movies had great scripts with interesting dialogue. Some of the dialogue in this film was actually unintentionally funny. And the ending...oh lawd...was more or less Identity's ending in a different setting.

The action, while decent, wasn't quite on the level of the original films. Let's be honest, Cross vs. that Larx guy was nowhere near as awesome as Bourne vs. Desh in Ultimatum.

On a more positive note, the movie does feature a great looking Rachel Weisz. She is aging rather gracefully.

Recommendation - wait for the Blu-ray rip
