So I just happened to get the ONE Vengeance kit that is seemingly incompatible with my motherboard (even with BIOS updates).

Corsair Vengeance 16 GB (4 x 4 GB) DDR3-1600 (black)...

Just bought it last week, so it's practically new.
Used it for about 3 very frustrating days of lockups, freezes and BSODs.
Memtest confirmed that there's nothing wrong with it. Worked flawlessly in my HTPC.

Asking price : $700

Hard O/C has taken 8GB, so now I have the other 8GB for $300.00

hear nah... I would buy 1 ram chip. but once it works with my chips already in use.
Anyone know if it would? The only difference I see is the color. However, buying it off of you str8off wouldnt be a bad idea either.. Lemme know, cuz i have 12 gigs of the 'blue ones'

Not sure if anyone would be willing to buy 12Gb. I'm already taking a loss as it is. I'd rather sell it as a complete kit.
