Yeah, I heard from X, the team manager across there with them, that the guys won all of their matches in the group stage.

Hopefully they will find success in the finals today as well.

Apparently, CalledEternal and SlyFoxx99 aren't the only one representing for Trinidad & Tobago across in Guadeloupe though.

Check out this picture of steel pan that X sent from GigaGames Caribbean Cyber Sport Cup 2011

lol, the flight out of Trinidad was at 6:30AM Friday morning and they had to check in an hour before that at Piarco International.

So no sleep for the champs.

Good thing the tournament started on Saturday the 17th. Giving them enough time to catch up on some Zzzzs.

Preliminary info from X across in Guadeloupe.

He says CalledEternal has won the Super Street Fighter IV AE Event and is now the Caribbean Champion.

Unfortunately SlyFoxx99 was knocked out in the final stages on Sunday of the Fifa 12. Not sure of his exact placement.

More details as they become available

Congrats indeed @ CalledEternal.

dazwhawetalkinbout

@dean.....that's no way to talk about the fifa champ man. If you won, how would you feel if people went around saying things like that about you?

He defeated all the opponents in his group. No losses from what I hear.

So he still did Trini proud and made it to the elimination stages.

i would not have said it if it wasnt true. other people would agree with me on this (not calling any names).
my point is his style of play is considered "cheap tactics" and if that is what you guys want representing tnt then so be it.

Well I watched the finals myself at Digital Immersion on the big screen. No expert at fifa, but it did not look like cheap play to me.

Apparently the foreigners were able to defeat it.

So maybe next year you will be able to defeat him as well!

@arcmwnov, well we will see, part of the prize was a ticket and qualification to guyana tournament in april, when win that i will get a spot in evo.  Also slyfox played well, he made top 16 out of 98 player, and the guy that knock him out won.  When we spoke to the winner of fifa he said that the hardest player he faced was slyfox, so in my book he did really well for all those who did not know

Glad to hear it man CalledEternal

I know SlyFoxx would have given a good account of himself

The next event is in Guyane, not Guyana. Small correction with huge implications.

Hoss, cheap tactics or not, the deciding factor in who was chosen, was who won the tourneys right?
Slyfox defeated you???

You want us to send men who cant win tourneys instead?>
If that was the case, you would be on that boat quick fass doh study it.

Come with better tactics next year

i never played against him . i play this game for fun . if i had to play against his cheap tactics that would make me stop playing fifa entirely.

there were many tournaments before this one , with better players and winners , it was rather unfortunate that they could not make it.
