WTK: 2011 Research on Skybox and Shipping Services

OK Guys,

Putting together an article comparing the various skybox and shipping services offered on the island.

What are the areas that should be included.

1) Shipping rates (tiers, volumetric, weight? etc..)

2) Time to ship items from Miami to Trinidad (Flights everyday, every other day, etc..)

3) Pick up locations

4) Delivery service

5) Notification service (sms to phone, email)

6) Payment options (cash, check, credit card, online payment, etc....)

7) Opening days and hours (special holidays, Chistmas eve, etc...)

8 ) Annual membership fee / sign up fee

9) repackaging service

10) Customer service (this one will be a bit difficult to measure objectively, dunno)

11) Rates for Shipping items back to the states (For RMA and returns)

12) Mystery Charges? (Fuel Surcharge, etc...)

13) Minimum shipping fee

14) Value Added Service (Purchasing on behalf of customers, etc...)

15) Special promotions / competitions

What else? What missing?

Also, who are the players in the industry?

What about including the "miscellaneous" services, for example i know a few offer to purchase products with their company cc and you pay them back in cash.

what about incentives? some skyboxes offer possibility to enter competitions to win vouchers, gifts etc, especially around this season.
