same advice goes for you then doomtack

There is no rush. Just put them on your "must play" list for 2012 or 2013 or even 2014

Whenever you get some long vacation or a sabbatical or something.

Pretty much do the same. takes me literal years to beat some games sometimes.

wow, for Ghost Recon to be relegated to console only status.

how times have changed

Yes, because Ubisoft now requires you to be connected to the internet ALL THE TIME to play their games on PC.  :(

Put THAT in yo pipe and smoketh it.

there "ALWAYS ONLINE DRM" has been dropped. A internet connection is only needed for install/activation

Proof?

According to my source at Rockstar games, GTA V is slated for early 2013 release.

Any news on the PC version?

These are already in my shopping cart:
Max Payne 3
Hitman Absolution
Metro Last Light

Hoping for GTA V as well.

Ubisoft sold Assassin’s Creed II, Splinter Cell: Conviction and other popular PC game titles in 2010 using the always on DRM that requires a constant Internet connection. After months of complaints and annoyance, Ubisoft called a truce with customers and released a new update removing the always on DRM.Gamers were frustrated by the always on DRM that required a constant Internet connection, with some gamers complaining they were unable to save games without Internet access. Now Ubisoft has decided that an Internet connection is only necessary to help authenticate the game, not to have access while playing the entire time.

Games i'm stoked about for 2012

1. Guild wars 2 (i'm in awe every time i see a new vid!)
2. DOTA 2  (Dota is my eSport....)
3. Diablo 3 (not sure i'm as stoked about it not being LANable)
4. Torchlight 2 (because of the LAN aspect)
5. Mass effect 3 (this have to come good as Mass effect 2 & Skyrim own as SPRPG's!)

I feel i missing out a few...but generally 2011 set a high standard for Games!!

If Red dead redemption gets a PC port....i dey as well!!
