whats so great about 8300?

lots of people i know have gotten 8300 Dells.... whats so hot ?
 
 price : 1019 USD online, 12000-15000 TT off ripoff vendors.
 Processors : 3Ghz P4 H/T on dell, price online 219 USD
 HD : 80 GB  : 60 USD online
RAM :512mb DDR 400 without spreader :83 USD online  
Vcard : FX5200 non ultra : 70 USD online
sound : INTEG!
Mobo : dell generic, 96 USD For ASUS mobo online
drives : dual DVD/CD/r : 63 USD online
          : NO FLOPPY DRIVE : 8 USD online
monitor : LCD : 350 online
case : dell cheeep with cheep quit phan : 40 USD with fans online
accecories :  keyboard, mouse : 20 USD online
Warranty : 1 year : 2-3 year online off new egg.

total cost : dell

plus the fact dell gives you NO NAME generic stuff.... and the dell comes with WINXP HOME! and the ASus mobo WILL make the built system ALOT faster and have built in fire wire etc.

What's so great? It friggin fast is what great...for you to say that the Dell is not good..something wrong with u>Overall it is good>And that generic dell mobo crap aint cutting it either>You don't know what mobo they using(stated on Dell's Trinidad & Tobago site they say they use the 875P chipset)

even mobos of the same chipset can differ several percent in benchmarks .  
 
  Dells have NO overclocking features so you can't plan to overclock once the warranty dies...
  Dells have very limited tweaking features.

Dell's purpose isnt to make ultimate beast machines like alienware.
But with the waranty. free deals. and shipping.
THey have excellent machines for people on budgets.

i DID THE RESEARCH

 I WENT ON DE DELL WEBSITE AND IT DIDN"T HAVE NO FLOPPY DRIVE , PRICE WAS 1019, WINXP HOME, 1 YEAR WARRANTY.

 it could have changed since i checked it to!
