People, let's not forget that this is the GAMERS Association of Trinidad and Tobago, not the TABANCA A.T.T. Sure, there may be a place on the forums for something other than games, but you must also be considerate of other people when you post.
Do you want other people to know about these types of things?
Do you think they really WANT to know?
And how would it affect the mentioned parties if you were to post on the Board?

Actions and Consequences, people.
Personally, I don't really give a flying -FISH- about who broke up with who, the reasons why, or anything like that, because those things explode into unnecessary, annoying rants that serve only to cause hateful spam on the Boards that nobody cares about. Oh, sure, there may be a few people on the Board that may want to stay tuned for the next episode of GATTWood Park, but me?
I'd rather if you would leave your God damned personal affairs out of these forums.

With all due respect, SplitPsycho, I really think you're asking for trouble.

While I am an advocate for freedom of speech, there are some things that are better left unsaid.
Let's say this was allowed on the forums.
Arguments abound would erupt from such topics being made.
Then, people would start taking sides and further cause conflicts.
Then, some people would take the opportunity to cause unneeded spam on the Boards.

In short, this is too sensitive, too potentially dangerous [in terms of spam] to even think about placing on a decent forum like this. Now, I'm the moderator of a few Message Boards and a forum myself, and I know firsthand, that giving leeway to such posts are a recipe for disaster. It is just best that such topics are just not welcomed on the Board. Already, several topics had to be closed or deleted, because of this personal problem stupidness. Should it be something that is encouraged?

I agree with N.E.O 100% , so what if its a public forum , people fail to realize that the freedom of speech thing can only go so far when there are rules.  This board isn't exactly a democracy u know. Personal issues can be discussed , but when it gets ugly it will disappear.
