This is only one of the greatest FPS games ever made.

Now, console gamers can finally get to see 'what all the hoopla' was about.

Kudos to Crytek once again.  That they were able to crunch down and optimise
the original , beastly CryEngine is a technical feat in and of itself.

The story won't win any awards, but the gameplay was a re-definition of the genre,
and put the emphasis (for a while) right back on top-of-the-line PC hardware, especially
graphics-cards.  Even in the DX11 era, I put it to you that many rigs out there STILL cannot
run this game at absolute max settings.  Yes, five years later.

Fully recommended as a 'must-buy' for ALL PS3/Xbox 360 owners.

I 'acquired' this game for the PC a LONG time ago, however at the time running it in all its glory was far from.... affordable. I can do it now, but with my PC being FAR AWAY most of the time these days, this is really great news! It doesn't look as good as it originally did but I figure it wasn't hard for them to recompile the original using the Cry Engine 2, so perhaps Crysis with Cry2 graphics, i'll buy that any day!
