These points will accumulate throughout the 2011 season for any placement in the top 8 at GATT affiliated tournaments.

Interesting. This might be quite doable. I dunno if I'd win though. Must think about it.

Also, if it's over $2000 in prizes to be won, don't make the prizes' total add up to $1750... Just sayin. Unless you have extra prizes not listed here?

That's where the $2000+ comes in. $1750 in cash prizes plus the cash value of the door prize.

re: tournament

If this was 5 years ago, I'd be on this in a heartbeat. Sadly (?), I not only have a wife, but a near 3 year old daughter who is going to start school in two weeks and a soon-to-be 4 month old son, so I don't even get to play games any more (I've played AE a grand total of 45 minutes). I'm old and washed up. :|
