Yea boy, them titans is monsters, 2 Titans is d sweet spot of high end computing now yes.

3 680s good, but 2 Titans go offer much better scaling, thus much better performance in the end.

So more power, Less cards in the system, better performance. And if you liquid cooling.

2 Titans LCS = $2300
3 680s LCS = $1950

$350 different

I eh know about the paying more to win bit, I build my machines primarily for 1 thing, game hard on max settings at the res I use. And even with the beast rig I have, I cant even play Tomb Raider @ 2560*1600 with max settinsg and put that AA on 4XSSAA. Even 2x causes fps dips below 60, so I running on FXAA. I just cant play games that dip below 60 for any reason. 2xSS it dips to like 50~55 here and there. But that annoying me.

If I had 3 titan im sure id be able to run it at 60 constant. But going from FXAA to 4xSS eh worth an additional 1500$ To me.

But come next year, when ddr4, x99, and Haswell-E hit, and 4k come down ah lil bit in price. I'll definitely need a more beefy rig to handle 4k. 3 Titan mite struggle with that res as is. in demanding games like TR, Metro, Crysis etc.

When the 2014 version of titan hit (whatever that may be), paired with the other tech, that go be sweet. And I'm sure FC going to be going with similar parts, so whoever OC better go win

Also, we have next gen games hitting soon, thing like titan fall, division, destiny, etc etc etc. Running them thing maxed with all the bells and whistles set to max, will require much more juice @ 4k.

Not interested at all in stock score. That's just raw horsepower of the parts u buy. And we all know how powerful a titan is, the score it produce is obvious.

4k is an entirely different monster, 4k will require only slightly less power than that, and 3 titan cant even run the thing properly with SMAA MGPU 2x @ Very High settings. 34min, average 48? that unplayable to me.

It simply really, if u want to game at high res with everything on, yUh need juice, and lots of it.

And the reviews I reading on that Asus 4k Monitor, the super res worth it.
I hoping time next year Nvidia do a Titan 2 with double the power of an existing titan. So then 3 of that go be like 6 Titan. Then that go be enough power to run 4k at the performance I desire,...hopefully.....

Only thing bout High Res gaming, if you buy a High Res monitor, yUh basically commit yuhself to building the most powerful rig u can build every year. Because driving the latest games at those resolutions, will always require the latest and best GPU tech. If yUh decide to go back down to Single GPU solution, performance will reek.

I expected you to hit ah lil 26k once yUh OC up, and that's exactly what u hit.
Thing is, that chip have plenty headroom still, I shudder at the score your rig will produce once you OC hard.....
