A guru (Sanskrit: गुरु) is one who is regarded as having great knowledge, wisdom, and authority in a certain area, and who uses it to guide others (teacher)
At the genesis of GATT, our numbers were small, just a handful of gamers numbering no more than a dozen.
Even then, amongst such few, we had a guru. His callsign was fittingly, "GuruKast" and he was the resident fountain of knowledge. If you had a question on some theory craft in broodwar or the finer arts of plasma climbing walls in quake 3, you could count on Guru to have the answers.
Fast forward a decade. GATT is now four thousand plus in membership and the need for gurus has never been greater.
Many have risen over the ages and this thread attempts to honor as well as present them for your tutelage.

As well as highlighting those established oracles, this is also a call for nominations for gamers who are held in equal esteem but maybe are not known to the masses. Those willing to counsel others in their are of expertise.
Feel free to suggest them by replying to this thread and after sufficient scrutiny to satisfy the requirements, we will indoctrinate them into the Guru hall of fame.
