2 of my twitter questions got answered on stream, one being how indepth the training areas are for corps to hold practices and how indepth the commander role is both were to my liking   (100)

CCP Presents panel ended with CCP Jian revealing some more things coming in the future in 2013 expansion of DUST 514!

1) PvE in DUST will exist - Rogue drones - Survival mode for example

2) Competitive gaming (eSports) aspect of DUST 514 will start with "Gladiator Arenas" in early 2013 - support of Capture The Flag, custom matches, solo DM and also with observer mode in dust matches as well

3) Hostile environments (lava, gas, ice) are planned for expansion in early 2013!

4) MTACs are coming in 2013 expansion as well

Some more ideas were thrown around mentioning various types of planets and possibility to make vehicles-only planeteray matches as well. Those ideas are all for expansion and CCP will constantly working on more features. Also, EVE Online players betting on DUST matches in terms of actual eSports and huge amounts of money spinning around that feature are hinted at as well.

Once game is running and it is stable post-release, the EVE/DUST link will improve dramatically as mentioned in some of those points by CCP Jian and also from EVE side.

yup, all free thats the good part, even tho its free ill still gladly throw money and support devs like this who support hardcore games

Just imagine ppl running Gladiator arenas and it being streamed in DUST and EVE live and u placing bets via ISK on which team u think wud win, imagine teams being paid to take a dive? all that possible and thats only 1 part of the game and not even goin into the whole waging war with other alliances over territory

anyway more vids.......
this 1 more technical not flashy or gameplay just explaining how their map generator and other stuff works




this one the tournament finals that was streamed, be warned terrible aiming up ahead..........lol @ PC players trying to use a controller, thank god for them that mouse and kb supported they really do need the help just to compete lol.

yes 7 years....that means no super soldiers, roles will be more important in this game than any other so called "class based" game so far u will not be efficient at every single task u will have to pick a path and specialize

PS+ folk check ur emails DUST beta codes went out
just got off it <3  (100)

got some kinks to work out but its awesome.

Starting gear damage is low so gunplay feels alot like Halo mixed with BF2142
the devs said damage is so low atm because we are using militia gear which is basically free and can never run out

ALOT of weapons on the game already, different variants for ARs SMGs etc

each PSN can have up to 3 characters, i currently have 3 u can skill both passive and active, passive obv being slower

so while i am playing on my main character my other 2 are still passively gaining skill points
btw ill be running 2 corps for the full game my main which is basically my clan and an academy so to speak (already got one setup on BF) basically for more casual players or ppl who serious about joining the clan but dont quite meet the requirements.

From time to time the academy will join in with the main corp for our larger ops during the retail.
Figured that this way ppl here can still play the game casually but also get a taste of the real big wars as well if they want, cuz im sure ppl wont wanna deal with all the pre-planning and management that goes on in planning wars but just wanna shoot ppl in the face.

Once ppl not anti-social shud be good because its gonna be an international thing and will be playing with ppl from all over it

PS: wont need to add ppl on PSN either but just add them to contacts inside the game.

of all the dev blogs read this one in its entirety to really see how tactical and deep this game is gonna be from the macro and micro lvl

already in the closed beta and the skill system already in place is huuuuuuuuuuggggge, u definitely need to specialise. This is good for ppl that like cod and like unlocking new things since u will have plenty skills to keep goin for.

finished top 8 in the first ever tournament held by the devs a few weeks ago, got knocked out by tourney favs and eventual winners Imperfects

both SyN and IMP were in same grp and we both made it out and teams that made it out their grps had to play again in a bo3 in the QFs instead of playin other corps from another grp......really weird but w/e
