yes very sad news... but you shouldn't be referencing the likes of Rosa Parks and MLK as the situation is a totally different one.


i've heard from your mentor how much work you guys put into this, and for you not to be able to go is messed up... what about the other members of your team?

It is different from their situations, but in many ways, it is the same.
Innocent people are being treated like lesser beings because of a name or a belief and because some other people used that name or belief in a wrong way.

yup.. thats more or less what i meant...

in terms of black people, its because we were born black.. we did no action that would insite unfair treatment

in terms of muslims, a few extremists decide to do some stupid things and now the whole religion pays for it

same unfair treatment, but different causes

Great news! Just got a call from the embassy.
It'll be approved, i just have to go to an appointment next week.
Hopefully i'll receive it in time.
