When I saw the Uncharted demonstration got me thinking what kinda game Naughty Dog coulda turn out if they had the power of a PC to work with.

Very very good presentation but still not sure about the new Wii as yet, need a graphics comparision with 360/PS3 to see how it holds up.

Will check hands on reports later

I was hoping to see A LOT more with regards to the console itself. However, as mentioned by the guys on GT, it sells much better when taken hands-on...

Nintendo speaker was putting me to sleep, however the new tablet.... *cough* I mean controller has potential and the hopeful introduction of a new console to run BF3 really does peek my interest.

Also as I am watching GT.TV interview EA, John Riccitiello JUST say what we watched yesteday with the BF3 demo actually showed gameplay from ALL 3 platforms... interesting... apparently there was an indicator showing which platform was being used at that time.... hmmm

All they showed today was the controller for the Wii U. Kotatu has a released image of the console itself...it looks almost identical to the Wii.

As "behind the times" with graphics as nintendo might be, visuals are definitely not the only thing that makes a game. Nintendo is on top with innovation. The move they made with partnering with EA and other 3rd party developers is quite the visionary step in opening back up their market to the "hardcore" gamers and at the same time they are keeping their casual gamers market with the integration of the Wii accessories and the family oriented genres they already have. Some of us will see it as an outdated console with a new paint job, some of us will see it as a fresh step towards innovative gaming. As a fan of all platforms i enjoy gaming across the baord and all we can do is wait to see the future capabilities of the Wii U and whatever MS and Sony have up their sleeves

The controller is clearly the highlight of the new console with a base system to support it. What difference wud it have made if they showed the housing unit for the CPU, GPU and disc reader? The fact is they promised competing graphics power and im sure the gaming community can hold them to their word

It can run it...how well is a question, because you notice the guy from EA quietly sidestepped that issue, and went to talk about the potential of its controller.

Now, looking at the Wii, it's without argue that its controller system is what set it apart. Will the Wii U controller bring as great a level of innovation? We haven't used the controller ourselves, so we can but speculate.

I have a wii and i feel what yall saying.... but the wii u just isnt my cup of tea. I know who the wii u appeals to and it just so happens im not one of those people. My opinion however does not mean that it wont be successful and sell millions. As for the new console... I cant pass judgement on it as I haven't seen it as yet

Yup there was pc and ps3 footage in the tech demo of bf3
