Story Updated: Jun 11, 2011 at 12:56 AM ECT

TSTT will launch iPhone 4 in Trinidad and Tobago on June 14 with a range of tariff plans tailored for iPhone customers.

iPhone 4 is the most innovative phone in the world, featuring Apple's stunning Retina display, the highest resolution display ever built into a phone resulting in super crisp text, images and video, and FaceTime, which makes video calling a reality.

iPhone 4 is powered by Apple's A4 chip and features a five megapixel camera with LED flash, HD video recording and a beautiful glass and stainless steel design like no other mobile phone.

It comes with iOS 4, the world's most advanced mobile operating system.

The revolutionary App Store provides access to more than 425,000 apps including the iMovie app built just for iPhone 4.

"TSTT is extremely excited to make iPhone 4 available to our mobile customers in Trinidad and Tobago," said Lisa Agard, executive vice president, Mobile Services.

"We are confident our customers will make the most of iPhone 4 on the most advanced mobile communications network in the country."

iPhone 4 will be available at all bmobile retail stores and select dealers beginning June 14.

Ok I'm sorry, but all i can do right now is make a very narrow minded comment towards this. I clicked the little link thingy, checking out bmobile's website. Looking at the pricing agreements, all i can do is SMH.

COMMENT OF IGNORANCE BELOW - REVEAL AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Spoiler (hover to show)

Ok now that's off my mind. Let the discussions begin...

I chuckled at the press release, especially the part about it being the most advanced mobile os and 'the most advanced mobile communications network in the country' But that smile soon turned into a cry when I say the price.

B1tches real smart though. They dont kill you with the handset price though they introduce an 'Upfront Service Payment'?? WTF is that? There is NO service for the IPhone that requires any special service plan.

They give the illusion that the 'Service payment' you will get back but the fact is that the monthly prices are INFLATED, yes, even with unlimited '4g' thus at the end of the MANDITORY 2 year contract, you would have paid the 'service charge' over again and THEN some.

I'd give them this. Who ever comes up with them packages real smart too. People are GOING to be fooled by this and Trinis, as moronic as they are will line up in long lines today and pay through their ears to use an inferior device that was outdated even before its release. WOW.

I suppose the first plan ain't bad if you're not a gamer and could use the 4G device to replace your broadband internet package at home.

other than that, price is in the outer stratosphere

I'm inclined to believe that the sector of society these packages are aimed at arent bargain hunters looking to save money on their internet bill. I mean, seriously now.

I now wondering about the legality of this. According to Apple's own website, TSTT is not even in the list of authorised sellers.

So do they even have the rights to sell the iphone...LEGALLY? or is it like when flow was pirating HBO and charging people for it. Hmmmm

Same thing i saying Captain Awesome, i highly doubt these phones will be carrier branded.

I thought apple had a strict carrier policy when choosing mobile providers for the iphone and i know tstt/bmobile don't meet 2 of the most important requirements which are required for QoS for the device. AT&T could not have screwed the pooch so hard that they have overlooked QoS.

Just took a gander at the website myself.  What a travesty.

...and you not even getting 'proper' mobile broadband on the device itself.

Waaaayyyyy...those prices are beyond ridiculous.

I know many on this forum are not iphone fans, but even for those looking for an iphone, these prices are ridiculous. Looks like this is their way of pushing the 4 g my spot service. I guess some people will fall for it.

This is probably why bmobile started selling iphones today. Still, are they an authorised carrier?
