Smallville Finale

After 10 years Smallville finally comes to an end this Friday.

It was totally awesome, they ended it great!!!

I'd say differently, but that's because I disliked the direction Smallville had taken on the whole.

I still watched it for two reasons -

1) To hear them FINALLY have the original theme music.
2) Unveiling the suit.

On those aspects, I enjoyed it a lot.

The rest of the 2 hour episode was really...bleah. It just further reaffirmed as to why I stopped following it from Season 2 onwards.

I was somewhat satisfied with the finale but I felt that they can't really do Superman justice with a tv budget. The original music also felt really out of place at the end.

I didn't like the CG, it was pretty obvious that it was from Superman Returns (and the lack of details suggests the video game ). There was one scene where Clark was watching Lois after saving the plane and you could see that the it was some cheap jersey looking thing he had on with a CG cape.

I also loled at the final scene where you could clearly see the shield imprint under his shirt. He was a bit tooo stoic in that scene too.

I really really really loved this finale. After 10 years, finally, the suit, the glasses, the music, he flies!!! Season 10 was probably the most interesting season since the first half of season 4 (you know the one where he flew and also when the introduced flash). Of course we can all complain about the direction they took the show but for me, tonight it was more screw that!!!! This is it! Finally he'll be superman. And it did not disappoint. The action was right where i expected it to be (big build up and 5 sec fight) but it was more the drama kept me interested. I mean, you can't ask for too much so the special effects weren't bad either. Its not like i was expecting avatar cg or anything.

just watched the finale, and i too liked the way it ended. CG was cheap lookin but it was still entertaining. a good ending for one of the worst shows on tv.

well thats it for smallville. I didn't enjoy it as much as most here, and that cheap CG oui papa, it looked poor. even by tv budget standards.

but still though, GG.

This is what you people waited TEN YEARS for?  HA!!!  What an absolute joke.
That has to be a record for the longest running practical joke...EVER.

This is ONE series that I'm truly glad is off the air.

An absolute BASTARDIZATION of the Superman mythos.
I actually preferred to watch re-runs of 'Batman/Superman Adventures', or 'Justice League'.
