Just took in the first 2 episodes.

I must say this is a very interesting take on the King Arthur legend. Merlin this is not.

and it most certainly ain't for kiddies.




I highly recommend.

saw this posted somewhere on the forum before and actually planned to take in the first episode with the family (we watched all of Merlin and that was particularly fam friendly)

Fortunately, glimpsed the rating on IMDB and noted this was a Rated R affair before settling down for some quality time. lol

Camelot is going up against this other series Game of Thrones. Lots of people looking foward to it apparently.

"The Sopranos in Middle-earth" is the tagline Benioff jokingly suggested for the television adaptation, referring to its intrigue-filled content and dark tone set in a fantasy setting.

That line from the wiki has me sold.

Camelot's complete two-hour premiere is one of the best starts to any series I've seen in recent memory. The pacing, story, acting, set design and locations all come together to make what has the potential to be one of the best retellings of the Arthurian Legend. They seem to be hitting all the right notes early on, and while I don't want to get my hopes up, I'm excited to see what's next.

Am, I wonder if the person who wrote that quote saw the same Camelot I did? From what I saw, Game of Thrones has beaten this hands down.

To be fair, had to fight to keep myself awake during the premiere.....and lost the battle.

Slept through about at least a third of it.

They starting to overdo the soft porn thing in TV series these days (apparently because it worked for Rome and Spartacus, everybody is trying it) so now I can't put this thing on during regular family viewing hours. Steups

Will try again over the weekend yes. Cup of Coffee ftw.
