Actually this just shares the same name as the Schwarzenegger movie. Its not really a reboot of that story just a different take. Supposed to be based more off the books. Momoa looks more like the original Conan if u ask me.

The Stargate Atlantis dude? Really?

The Conan character didn't have that much 'depth', but it seemed tailor-made
for Arnie at the time. Momoa literally has some BIG shoes to fill.

...but it's Conan, so I'm interested.

Yea so I saw Momoa in this new HBO series as Khaal Drogo see link below

and quite frankly I'm totally sold on him being Conan

Never really liked him, looks like he's wearing eyeliner. Being old enough to see the original Conan this doesn't really impress me.

^ Dude, in that trailer alone, Momoa probably had as much dialogue as Arnold did in the last movie. Conan doh talk so much and he doh tote feelings.

^Exactly in the "trailer" We don't know how much talking he really gonna be doing in the movie. Either way this is more in line with the original Robert E. Howard stories and the comics than the first Conan movie ever was.

Coulda do without the noisy rock music, but it does look interesting.

Seeing Arnie as a wee lad as Conan seemed like the most awesome thing at the time, so my general opinion of this is colored by that.

^ Nah that aint rock. Thas that rock/rap BS but regardless the music wasn't needed. Even though our age differs I saw Arnold as Conan when I was youngtoo courtesy CineMAX 12 yrs ago

Though I know that version differs from the books etc. so Im open to new interpretations.
