When i play these type of games, i purposely play the renegade route, to see what happens, its more interesting, paragon does be kinda predictable. If i want to save the world, ill play zelda.
If i just what to kick ass, renegade is where its at. Kratos style.

..

Until u see shepard man handle ah krogan, yuh eh know how dread he could be lol. Talk bout manners, lolol.

lol, part of which movement? the "happy" ending or the game prices being too high?

I've read about four or five forums of people's comments on the ending of the game.

It has so many variations, yet the masses seem to be pleased with none of them.

perfectly happy with the one I chose though. most who thought the ending were fine also chose that same path and for the same reason.

After reading so many views and complaints, I can understand their position. A lot of people grew so emotionally attached to the characters that they want either a) a happy ending or b) a detailed explanation of the state of affairs in the galaxy after the final battle.

Maybe bioware will offer those via DLC. Left to be seen.
someone stated though that this could be an intentional move by bioware, while the real ending will be a dlc. Seems far-fetched but the there is this tweet from the producer:

Michael Gamble ‏ @GambleMike
Hardest. Day. Ever. Seriously, if you people knew all the stuff we are planning...you'd, we'll - hold onto your copy of me3 forever.

I'm taking everything with a grain of salt for now but time will tell, keeping fingers crossed.

lol, I'm in the same position as you yes Messiaah, but hoping to catch up on a few of those gems in the next couple of months.

@ tnt ghost

yeah, the DLC could definitely unlock some more good times. Especially after seeing the "secret clip"

Very well written article

sums up those hundreds of forums posts I've read on the matter quite nicely.

there is one glaring problem though.....they divorce most of mass effect 3 from what they consider "the ending"

To me, the entire Mass Effect 3 was "the ending" of the series.

So I don't feel cheated.

It was an amazing experience every step of the way.

Bioware would have to be perfect to correct every angle asserted in that article. Nobody's perfect.

I haven't enjoyed a game like this before and i've played countless games, mass effect 3 exceeded my expectations and then some. And quite frankly it's been a good ride from part 1 to present but then as i reached that ending it just sorta leaves me like EH?

http://www.tomsguide.com/us/Mass-Effect-Petition-Charity-Child-s-Play-BioWare,news-14468.html

I find this, ridiculously stupid.... Not the charity part of course, but the reason why the petition was started...

Quote
The petition's argument is this: the currently available endings to all three Mass Effect games do not provide the wide range of possible outcomes that fans have come to expect from a Mass Effect game. They also do not provide a sense of succeeding against impossible odds, they do not provide a sense of closure with regard to the universe and characters to which fans have become emotionally attached, and they do not provide an explanation of events up to the ending which maintains consistency with the overall story.

All this fuss over a game.. really? really? Be it a good cause has been added to back it but still man..

game was well done, up till the last ten minutes..

Really wasn't taking on the bitching by people online till I experienced it for myself. Time to uninstall.

 SPOILER WARNING

Apparently they said due the outrage by fans all over and the sheer amounts of it, there is a fan feedback thread on bioware where they are asking fans to state what you did like and did not like about the ending and what you would want to see   changed. So people have been flooding in with ending suggestions, so we might quite possibly get a dlc with an alternate ending. Also we've been told that this is not the end of commander shep so hold onto the save games.

The ending to this game was something of an insult to bioware pedigree, and good storytelling. (Ive pretty much beaten nearly all the bioware games so Ive gotten accustomed to their quality)

To people who paid attention, the game ending was uninspired, and all the end choices were functionally the same.(not to mention the collossal plotholes)

Ending had me looking at the screen with a blank expression on my face, literally.  That ending felt like it was thrown together on a whim. Glad I got this game level cheap oui. Wouldve be cussing if i bought the collectors edition.

The ending of a game like this which focuses so much on storytelling, could make or break the franchise, and this game unfortunately, for all it did right, it ended up being a disappointment imo.

But that is my opinion.

Guess you had to pay attention through the game to understand the ending. The whole point of the ending was to show that no matter what choice was made the cycle would be inevitable.

So those who like the ending didn't understand the game? Any mass effect fan worth this salt couldn't be satisfied with that ending.
