In a similar vein as the Game Of The Year 2010 thread.

What are your three nominations for the best flick?

Let me start the ball rolling with:

The Social Network. The story behind the worlds most popular social network, facebook.

Inception. DiCaprio does it again, bringing a riveting tale of industrial espionage to life in a world where technology exists to enter the human mind through dream invasion.

and last but not least, Kick Ass. A comic book action movie with arguably the most controversial and memorable movie character this year in the juvenile war machine that was Hit Girl.

I nominate scott pilgrim vs the world. This movie set the bar for how music should hence forth be represented in videos and movies and had the most awesome fight visuals ebbeer.

I also nominate kick ass. Hadda support my woman.

And lastly I guess inception.

I nominate:
"The Town"
Excellent crime movie by Ben Affleck who has seemed to establish a huge credibility directing (as he did with Gone Baby Gone) Also great performances from the cast members.

"Scott Pilgrim vs the world"
A movie that took me by surprise. I never heard of the manga, never heard of the game, never even heard of the trailer. I saw by mistake and loved it. Pretty innovative use of visual effects and editing as well. Very epic!

and
"Inception"
I can't say more except you have a collaboration between Leonardo DiCaprio, Christopher Nolan, Hans Zimmer, the cast and crew, and Warner Brothers and you get this piece of intenseness!

oh by the way not to sound queer or anything

I nominate INCEPTION. This movie is by far the most interesting and intense movie for 2010. It not only had the action for the action junkies out there. it actually had a very intriguing story. With very capable and well established actors and Directors/Producers. Good pacing of the storyline kept audiences glued to their seats. Tight script and a near flawless execution from Director Christopher Nolan. Hands down INCEPTION was the best for 2010.

Notable Mention
Expendables didnt break any ground with action or storyline. it was however an awesome show with regards to the fun action and mindless killing. A real 'manflick'

Finally watched Inception blu ray quality and it was good.
