Google is expected to officially unveil the Nexus 5 any day now. (Technically it already has.) But one Canadian carrier has apparently grown tired of waiting. Wind Mobile today launched a pre-registration page for the upcoming Android flagship, describing it as "the smart, new phone made to capture the moments that matter." The page also reveals some key specifications for the latest Nexus handset. The internals listed here largely match up with what we've seen from previous leaks and FCC filings, so there's not much in the way of surprises. According to Wind, the Nexus 5 will feature a 4.95-inch 1080p display, a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, and will be available in both 16GB and 32GB configurations.

The epicness continues for high end devices with low end devices getting some serious love too. Buttery smoothness for 512mb devices go up the road. Ahhh kit kat, soooo sweet.

@Capt. awesome... how u was talking bout nexus 5 I was honestly expecting more. But it have basically the same specs of the 1520, but with a worse screen, worse cam, worse battery, and no sdcard.

Not impressed.
But like I said, the price Bess, that aspect can't be beat.

Hahahaha that verge guy is high on crack. Pretty much all the comments have agreed on this. Even my nexus 4 doesn't lag. Lol madman.

Pure android is the only way to go just like ms has done with winmo. Skin infused versions would all die were it up to me. Manufacturers need to adopt Motorola's example and innovate real and useful features without bloating the experience. I think Google has a long way to go to espouse this trend but they leading by example so I'm confident that they will succeed.

Sure the camera is not the best but it's good enough for me and the majority of people out there. Screen, unless I see a direct comparison I'm gonna stick with it being the best out there and no scene @ storage. 32 gb local is moreeee than good enough for me. Google are the cloud kings. For everything else there's that.

Cost is also very important to me. Im loathe to spend more than $2500 TT on any new phone. That's why this nexus is so full of epic win. No other device out there with this level of power comes even close. Double the price at least.

I'll wait for reviews to look for the lag myself.

And yes most extra features are just that, extras, mostly they wont be needed, like extra storage and better cam. But hell if I cud get them I want them. Weird that Nokia started adding them to get parity with Samsung and moto didn't.

Cheaper is always better, but when it comes to phones, it seem price is not that big of a concern for most ppl, cause men still buying Iphones and galaxies in droves. But if yUh price conscious, yea, nexus Bess.

And fully agree with pure android. The less a carrier or OEM have to do with the software the better. Strangely enough, Nokia's software offerings actually bolster WP in a huge way, don't know why Sammy can't do that without forcing touchwiz down ppl throat.
