There are millions of people who use Android on a day to day basis and love the entire experience. A lot of fluidity, customizability and stability above all. Just like Windows Desktop, there must be a small amount of people that have issues with some particular thing...you definitely fall into that category. Too bad for you.

Meanwhile, the rest of the world liking deyself without compromises to app support and customization.

PS: We run and administer Exchange 2010 in our Ministry with numerous Android devices connected using Active Sync on a variety Android OS versions, GB straight to JB and guess what...works PERFECTLY without issues.

^^ That's fine, at the same time, every single person i know (other than on gatt), android experiences these issues. So pretending these issues dont exists at all because certain men experience is fine, kinda stupid. Millions of ppl used win ME and vista also, and alot of ppl had no issues, but alot of ppl did. The millions of ppl that didnt have an issue with vista didnt make the issue of the platform non-existent. But the percentage of doggey android reports are dramatically higher than ios. (cant include windows phone in that stats cause obviously d userbase is no where near android.)

So clearly the platform has stability and fluidity issues in the industry, so pretending like they dont exists just make men come across like fanboys.

When comes to windows 8, i myself cuss it for d things that didnt work, gfwl, etc etc. and when men post complaints they were acknowledged and assistance offered where necessary. But when it comes to 2 things on this forum, anybody have an issue with it, the problem is them.

i.e. Battlefiled 3, and Android.

I'm happy for those that had no issues, really I am.

Still love android. Just that I can't play ostrich and bury my head in the sand.

Many people online had similar issues. I checked thinking maybe my phone was just some sort of lemon but that wasn't the case. Reports of crashes galore.

It is not a deal breaker because of how fantastic the device is overall but yes, the crashes need to stop before I can feel comfortable recommending android to the enterprise personally. They got to be bulletproof.

As a personal phone, hell yes.

Not worried, by 5.0 I'm sure it will be stable as Windows 8. Faith in the little green machine.

Nowhere did I say that Android is perfect, just strange that you getting issues that I have not encountered or anyone else I know has encountered in the last three years Ive been using the platform. Makes me think its something the people u know doing wrong.

I'm not your average joe tech, and if i cant take out a brand new android out of d box, and it just works without crashing, clearly there is an issue with the platform.

It have nothing "wrong" u could possibly do, to brand new device that u just flash. Unless there is either an issue with the hardware or d software. Sure i could have written dis off as users doing crap, but i myself experience these issues personally with brand new devices.

Muchless for the client who start to fling on a few apps.

And as wyatt pointed out, is not just me, not just phoenix and not just him, the Internet is ridden with these kind of reports. And me phoenix and wyatt using 3 different batches of androids in different locations and even in different countries.

So i really dont see how men could turn a blind eye to d fact that android has this problem, and it needs to be addressed.

In contrast, i've never once setup a new windows phone or ios device that has crashed. So if something is being done "wrong" Android needs to address that, not me.

Also, every new version of android that is announced supposedly "fixes" android. When UI experience is concerned. So if android never had a problem to begin with, what is there to fix? and why every single time a new droid OS announced it some how fixing d UI experience?

WP on d other hand, weather is single core cpu, or dual core cpu, runs exactly d same, because nothing wrong with it. Where dual core benefits wp is like in app launch times, etc. but the fluidity of d UI is exactly d same, (except for lumia 920 because of it's 60fps screen u notice it)

Even my kindle fire, which runs android....crashes.....though a lot less than the phone.

My kids will be using it fine one moment, then they start to bawl and fuss.....when we check the device lock up....not responding to touch or anything. Have to hard reboot.

It is not very often though, maybe three or four times for the month. So it is not a deal breaker.

Just that this never happens with the Ipad.

PS: We run and administer Exchange 2010 in our Ministry with numerous Android devices connected using Active Sync on a variety Android OS versions, GB straight to JB and guess what...works PERFECTLY without issues.

incorrect...

that paragraph just illustrates my point about these android FB's... issues don't exist to them... even when they do...

also... crashes are normal to people who expect them, such as people who have never used an iOS or WP device... if there are no issues with stability and fluidity then why every android release from 2.3 up claims to fix fluidity/stability issues lol... i'm sure that is the claim for v5 to

back on topic:

i've since remove exchange accounts from my prime immediately tabbed over to the browser to be greeted by the "this app is not responding do you want to wait or close" :(.. so that wasn't the issue...

you guys must be doing something out of the box to not experiece these things... custom roms or something idk.. because this is not the first android tablet im running on the daily...

If I was getting issues like that I would return the device and switch to something else, wp, ios etc. I would say that our ipad does get nicer apps compared to the tablet versions available on Android.

Exactly, Some men would overlook these things and still use android, but others, like me, coming from a stable platform to experience those issues, would look upon android as a hot pack of mess regardless of what d phone can do. But apparently i not allowed to call android mess lol. Its the best OS on earth afterall.

thats not what i said... i said your statement about the android devices on your network running perfectly is INCORRECT!!! unless you working in a foreign ministry now...

my other statement was about fanboys in general... i cant say if you're in that category or not.. i've not seen your device personally crash :)... but.. i've personally seen fanboy's tablets and phones crashing, then hear them telling others they have no issues....

now i could understand if people say the OS is so great that the crashes can be overlooked... but to say there are none.. and in your case all the devices on your network have none... either you dont get proper feedback or u just ignore it... idk

btw... a troll is somebody who posting something totally irrelevant to the topic... a la your last post... all my post was on everything android :)... not trolls and goblins

Lol, why it is when men start to talk bout d short comings of android or battlefield men does get so touchy boy.

Awesome i really trolling? Me, wyatt, and phoenix all exerpeince issues with android that you all are claiming does not happen on android, and the issues we experience has nothing to do wiht android as a stable or fluid OS becuase d platform rock solid and fluid acording to alyuh.

And when we try to show d platform DOES have issues, and its fine to overlook it becuase of it's strenght, i trolling?

And d man say maybe u dont get good feedback maybe u ignore it he dont know, and yuh ready to pee and go in yuh bed boy? waye.

If yuh make a statement and d man call yuh out on it, either yuh revise yuh statement or defend it, no reason to have a BF.

Well what I go say again. I say I doh have any issues that allyuh getting, other men say the same but u and ur brother insist that we are. Another man say he does get issues from time to time, totally unrelated to what  allyuh originally talk bout but that not good enough. So yeah, that is trolling or worse, just being plain belligerent.

Feel I ha time to study allyuh? millions of people including myself real enjoying the Android freedom.

I never say you guys are having d issues, i said on many occasions that becuase alyuh NOT! having issues, does not mean they dont exsist. U even read d thread boy?

It have millions of people having issues with android. D thing is, when the few verbal ppl here on gatt that IS having issues (i.e. me, phoenix, wyatt), say we having issue, it not recognized as issues with android, is some how something we doing.

I not saying u having d same issue with ur device, i doh know if u runing cyogen mod, if yuh usecase different , i dont know. What i saying is, issues DOES exist, and becuase u personally dont have it dont mean it not there.

But alyuh doing like there is nothing wrong with android, is all a bed of roses, and something juss wrong with we.
I so glad wyatt experience d same issues. Coming from him it cant be easily ignored as Microsoft Fanboy Propaganda, but even wyatt saying his devices crash, and still alyuh die hard that android have no issues.

So i still waiting to see how me, messiaah, trolling.

Doh generalise thing conveniently now. The issue you and yuh brother mention initially is exchange crashing. That is what I responding to, not Wyatt unrelated issues.

But because allyuh getting exchange issues, somehow it's an android problem when millions of other people get no issues. But yeah I'm sorry. We getting exchange problems but just not seeing it.... Whatever you say.

Dude, we was trying to find out why we getting issues and alyuh not, so we SUSPECT it mite be exchange, but phoenix took exchange off and d device still do d same thing, and i wipe brand new devices and it do d same thing no exchange. I repeat, U EVEN READING D THREAD! ?

And d issues we expereince is d same exact things wyatt getting and he not using exchange either.

Which is eveidence that it have NOTHING to do with exchange :S

And when phoenix say u getting issues, he not refering to exchange, he refering to android crashing, but he coudl talk for heself becuase he have information about your users i dont. so i eh getting into that.

And i never see anywhere on this thread men say u have exchange issues :S

And you and this "whatever you say" thing, please quote me on when i tell u, that u having d issues too.

Because allyuh was adamant that exchange must be the issue.

First, we was not ADAMANT! :S lololol, Having a dialog on gatt we realise, that a good few of the devices was exchange we trying to setup on it, so we suspected it MITE be exchange. So we start looking at it from that standpoint. Turns out it wasnt exchange.

Again, are u even reading d thread dude? U sounding like ah rel immature little child, seriously.

I'll make it simple for you, The issue is NOT exchange. D issue is Android.
