may come in handy if I had a SmartTV.

My LCD in the living room is as dumb as a door nail.

The connected HTPC has all the smarts. No need for such an app in the presence of a glorious XBMC home theater system. lol

Since I rush out an buy a S2, every where i turn in work now someone rocking an S3... with the odd iphone 5 in between and this is in the last 2 months.

Yep it's getting pretty ridiculous. I'm hearing persons saying they don't like android and still rocking an S3, ALONGSIDE their BB (queue WTF?!? here).

Not to mention with the S3 Mini along the way (i not sure if those count as S3's) expect to see even more.

I've been a long time fan of the BlackBerry and owned every top line model for many years. The moment I held a Galaxy Nexus, the love affair with BlackBerry ended. Immediately. No second thoughts.

There are at least two persons in my office.

1) She loves Blackberry, said she wont be using an Android. Her mom bought a Note II and won an S3 so now she using the S3 pretty much only for games along side her Blackberry.

2) The other one said the same thing, he really not into the Android thing "it so confusing", i spin round and he has an S3 all cased up next to his Torch.

Well the Android trumps the BlackBerry in the games department. Hands down.

Maybe they just don't understand how to unleash the power of the Droid.

If you want a phone to just do the absolute basics and no more.....then Droid can see overwhelming.

Also, the shift from the physical keyboard on the BlackBerry can be jarring.

If you're not going to take advantage of all the other features that Android brings to the table, making the switch could be painful.

Carry on smartly.

It is PARTICULARLY unnerving on the Amazon Kindle Fire HD. The Amazon App store is region blocking central.

Whoever came up with that concept in the first place needs to be stoned with a few Nokia 3310s.

Yeah boy you know how long I trying to buy that game. It has been on sale several times this year. Fortunately most apps aren't region blocked on play store. Never bothered with Amazon app store.
