They cannot exit that launcher page without entering a pin that you set.

I've heard on a couple tech podcasts that Android Jellybean has "Fixed" android. And specific mention was made about the UI (which is one of my major gripes with android). It was said that jellybean has fixed the fluidity issue men like me have with it (amounts other things).

If this is indeed the case, i may have another look at android once jellybean goes mainstream.
But with the advent of the hardware advancements in the Nokia Lumia 920, it going to be hard for me to leave the platform unless Nokia hardware following me.

Samsung has confirmed that it will unveil a smaller version of the popular Galaxy S III smartphone tomorrow.
Speaking to Korean media this morning , Samsung mobile chief JK Shin said that Samsung will lift the lid on a 4-inch version of the Android -powered smartphone on Thursday, a week after the smartphone maker sent out invitations to a launch event.

Hinting at the device's name, Shin said: "There's a lot of demand for a 4-inch screen device in Europe. Some may call it an entry-level device, but we call it 'mini'."

Specs like these are what we can consider the new "low end" of the spectrum in terms of android offerings.

Imagine all phones regardless of price running Jellybean and higher with a fully gpu accelerated interface running @ 60fps. Android could only get more pervasive from here.

Quick Question, what application do you recommend for streaming from PC to phone.

I'm using "GMote" - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.gmote.client.android&feature=search_result at the moment and it works alright but it tries to do so much that everything turns out halfway well done. Any better suggestions?

Why not? It allows me to watch movies, videos and listen to music i have on my PC without having to load them onto the phone itself.

This particular one also acts as a remote control to launch and control movies on your PC.
