Samsung needs to make better batteries,I've already said this, so what's your point really?

As for that 4.3 inch screen, isn't an advantage of the S-LCD over the AMOLED is less power usage on SLCD?I'm not a huge fan of the mega batteries but at least ya got choice :p
Well seeing that web browsing is pretty popular and most sites have white backgrounds, slcd would therefore give improved real world battery life.As for the Focus, reviews showed average battery life at best. Arc would have been in the same power situation based on his usage.
Screen tech difference has negligible impact on battery life. And yes, li-ion battery tech in general needs a few charge/discharge cycles to get the optimal performance. This is not peculiar to any one manufacturer.
yea which is why i said don't say samsung batteries are bad, but... li-ion doesnt need charge-recharge cycles and sometimes that can actually lessen the performance... and @ woody, i din say the focus battery was great (i dont think any high end smartphone has great battery life), i just said it was long.. meaning from 5am-9pm on heavy usage (extreme usage for about 3-4 hrs) i'm @ 10%
I don't see why not.I've always wondered what's the proper way to calibrate the battery. Now I know.I shall try that as soon as I'm done charging.
They really need to fast track some kind of ultra battery tech yes.My dream battery = some sort of hydrogen/fuel cell tech, 5 minute charge time, 5 DAY run time, extreme use. One charge Sunday night and you good till Friday.
