Your Galaxy S4 tears...I can taste them.  :laughing7:
Thank you Samsung.  The new  flagship Galaxy is suitably awesome.  All the haters can do is hate.

 - Higher capacity, 2600 MAh, Removable battery.   :happy0203:

 - 'Wireless' charging

 - Optional, removable, upgrade-able storage.   :happy0203:

 - Wicked internals.....connectivity and sensors like WHOA!!!  :awesome:

 - Full HD, 441 ppi display

 - New 13 MP rear, 2 MP front 'dual shot' cameras

That sound I just heard is probably Samsung moving another 100-million phone. :laughing7:
This, in my opinion is a worthy successor to an already boss flagship.  The improvements are much more than just a pretty screen and a longer chassis.  :/
There's enough new tech/features on offer here to qualify this as an actual upgrade.  If you were expecting some sort of 'revolution', then you're doing it wrong.

Now, just gimme all that awesomeness in the Galaxy Note 3, and I'll have a very hard time keeping my money.  :icon_thumright:

That 'event' was admittedly kinda lame...coulda shaved as much as 40 mins off that by gutting all the useless fluff.

:laughing7:   De hatin start, de hatin start, de hatin start, de hatin start...

Poor HTC.  :laughing7:

well said arc..

haters will hate.... all the info they will try to present n such...

hate is it...

I couldn't care less if the mobile controller fail.

All I know is... Samsung actually catering to people like me, and I want one.
It shows that they are listening to the market.  People have been clamoring for a proper mobile controller for a while now.
I have the SteelSeries, but it certainly can't do what that controller can, which is hold my device.
The other controllers that probably can...not as functional, so this is a win for Samsung Galaxy owners any way you slice it.

Don't like it, don't buy it.  Simple.

GG Samsung...again.

Agreed, more is always better, having the controller around is better than not having it atal for d few individuals who go use it. But when man start talking about all a pc go be good for is word and excel, because of that control, it does make me wonder lol. But agreed, GG Sammy nonetheless.

The only issue I have with that controller is that atrocious D-pad.  I wish it was a proper PSX-style broken-cross design.
Might have a hard time dishing out yoga-flame on that as is.   :laughing7:

It was said that this may not be the final design, so fingers 'crossed'.

Arc, have a read of this:

When being better doesn't equal victory: Samsung's curious overshadowing of HTC

"In a lot of things, being the best generally leads to victory. Usain Bolt is the fastest man in the London Olympics? He wins the gold. A hosting company has the best recorded uptime? It takes home an award. Google launches the fastest consumer broadband available in the US? Boom, victory.

But every so often, life throws us a curveball. For every 1972 Dolphins team, there's a pack of believers from NC State eager to do something crazy in 1983. And in more germane terms, there's presently no rhyme or reason why HTC has continually outgunned Samsung in terms of design prowess, yet continues to bleed cash while its Korean rival mints it. Actually, there is a reason. It's called marketing....read more" --Engadget

Poor HTC.  :laughing7:

Engadget rooting for them long time.  The bias in their articles against Samsung of late pervades everything they report on.

Poor Engadget.  :laughing7:

Samsung very smart.  They know it takes money to make money.  Apple getting away with it for years...and that's why they're still king in America despite all of iOS' glaring omissions.

...but people (Apple sheep) like to get an attitude when you call Apple out on it.

So the only thing HTC can now claim is design?

Guess what?  People want to be able to change their batteries and slip their removable storage in and out, and Samsung knows this.
Those people will once again demonstrate that function will always triumph over form when Samsung sells a shit-ton of S4s later this year.

...but then, we've already agreed that the HTC One looks better, so what?

*looks for some free shrugs to shrug*

In a race where specs are so close, virtually identical, design is one of d things used to differentiate, and very import to a smartphone imo. But again, we disagree on the reason why consumers buy gs3, it aint for battery swapping.
I'll give u d sd card, plenty men want that. Battery swapping? d general populous could care less. But u made the perfect point, apple has been doing it for years. Is all about the marketing.

The lumia 720 have a uni-body design with swappable sd card slot made like a sim slot, the next Flagship should have the same design, so at least yuh get back sd card, keep yuh unibody sexyness, no swappable battery doh. Which i think most ppl can live with.

And most ppl i know, dont ever upgrade the default sd card that comes in the GS3 box from the carrier. Anyways, we beat that topic with ah bull pesel enough aready. lol.

If i had to choose between the HTC One and GS4 doh, id choose the HTC One, mainly for it's design and front firing speakers, and display. Poor HTC indeed, men making some worthy products, but without that marketing, is gg all over again.

Got this puppy yesterday. S3 battery life wasn't cutting it at all...

On my first cycle but so far so good. 12 hours in with 4 hours screen on time and at 65%. 3.5hrs of which was spent doing some serious gaming. Keep in mind that my phone's overclocked to 1.8ghz with Wifi, data and GPS always on and a memory swap mod installed (having the phone access the sdcard for everything takes its toll on the battery life). So most ppl should have much better life than this. The guy in the video got 4 days with 8hrs screentime. And at the current price, it's a steal! Get it while it's cheap!

Not satisfied with the battery?  Change it.  Done.

Keep believing it's 'just marketing'.

Bet you can't do THAT with a HTC One.  :laughing7:

Old vid boy woody, certain it was posted some where before because I saw it already. Still, it is a good one.

Doesn't hurt to keep spreading the good android news.

@Arcman....if you think the S3 battery big....check out this 9300 mAh beast they are releasing for the note 2.

Exactly, a wonderful option to have. If you're going to hit a few days in Disney World or something.

Worth the $$.

I agree with Chiney, the Note 2 stock battery is solid enough for every day use.

Complimented with the portable battery backs and you're pretty much set but If you haven't sprung for one of those yet, this is a solid option

Well this is what I got on my first cycle with the battery. Been gaming quite a lot this weekend, so under normal circumstances I'm sure I could have gotten another day or so. Absolutely love the battery. Yes it weights twice as much as it did before and is twice as thick, but for me, it's a trade-off I didn't mind making at all. And it's honestly more comfortable to hold as it's thicker. My hands would tend to cramp when gaming for too long with the original size, but I didn't have that issue here.
