Are there any apps out there that allows users to backup SIM contacts to the cloud? I know of phone contacts backup apps, but I can't seem to find any for SIM.

SIM 'contacts' bro. It's written very clearly above. Dunno if it's even possible, but I hope it is.

You can export your sim contacts to a vcard file and manually upload it to drop box etc. I normally leave a copy on the sd card when changing phones it can come in handy. Not sure if you were looking for an automated solution.

just import them to your phone and sync them with your google account. Most droids do this automatically when you insert a sim into the phone.

I'll look into both methods. Thanks.

So people no longer save contact info to their sim card??? So in the event of your phone being lost or something, and you have not choice but to use an older model phone, what are you to do to retrieve your contacts?

For the past decade, phones have been able to sync contacts with PCs.

And as awesome hinted, more recently they do this automagically to your google/exchange account.

Phone could be flung into the ocean and you won't lose a single contact or calendar entry.

All safely stored on your PC, Server or Cloud.

Yeah I know that. But what if you have to use a phone from 11 years ago? I gave a wrong example before, but I was thinking if for some reason I had to go back to said Nokia, in the event of say the phone not working, how do you access your contacts then? I still think it's wise to at least keep contact info on the sim itself.

Well most to all phones that come with WAN access come with the SyncML protocol, which is an older form of phone backup. To be honest i don't really see the issue either if you backup your contacts to Google. All you have to do if import them to your comp in vcard format and transfer them to your backup phone using either Bluetooth or data-cable and your back in business. If you contacts are that valuable then there really is no question backup once in the most accepted format, them provision them to different cloud storage solutions, dropbox, skydrive, etc....

Unreal Engine 3 for mobile gaming platforms is scalable yet packed with the same tools hundreds of thousands of users work with to create games, simulations and animated content.
• Amazing visuals. “Epic Citadel” pushes the envelope for stunning visuals on Android devices. Through the latest advances in Unreal Engine 3 technology, the application delivers unrivaled graphics and special effects that immerse players in the kingdom’s grounds.
• Benchmarking mode. "Epic Citadel" allows you to gather performance data for your Android device through benchmarking mode, which includes frames per second stats as well as quality settings and resolution.

• Global illumination. Unreal Engine 3’s built-in global illumination system, Unreal Lightmass, provides realistic lighting and shadows with minimal development resources.
• Dynamic specular lighting with texture masks. Sophisticated graphics features impart a tangible quality to cobblestone roads and vivid reflective marble surfaces, while lens flares and light coronas add dramatic emphasis when panning across light sources.

I've been reading about the OTA updates for custom ROMS, are any of the top developers actually using it now? That's one of the things i'm looking at if i have to (and i suspect i will have to) go the root and rom route.
