Didn't Google purchase or invest heavily in Motorola? Why not roll out your own flagship device, with your own company, to save them?

Also, anyone uses any budget/money management apps?

Well they have been to HTC and Samsung, unless they had some sort of agreement upon the order i see no reason to not do Motorola next. Presuming, of course, LG didn't beg to get a Nexus device pushed out to up their sales.

Its just as W1n says...would be bad business to give the nexus device to motorola straight away and sour relationships with other top tier phone manufacturers.

The idea was to move it around and give everyone a shot at the big bucks that should come from delivering Google's flagship phone.

I thought Samsung was going to get it twice in a row. Rumours online suggested that.

Not sure how I missed the switch to LG. Lapsin immc.

Motorola may very well be next in line and no one can cry foul then.

Everyone got a fair shot already.

Yip. Anyone who touches a Nexus product stands to make some warm dollars.

Asus' third quarter cash raking in session is testament to that.

Talk about a run away train.

Anyone else saw these numbers?

Android is getting way out of control. lol.

Scary what the market share figures would look like after Christmas.

Love the Mac vs PC analogy. That's my thought on the situation precisely.

The war has really moved to the mobile space yes.

Ah boy... Sixaxis.  Don't play emulators without it.  I can throw my Hadokens with aplomb.

...and the best part, you can pair a 2nd controller for an impromptu throw-down on the go.

Yeah...all that niceness on a 'crap OS'.

Question:

Does anybody know if LTE is backward compatible with HSPA+ ?
My Carrier supports 2100 MHz HSPA+, if i use a 3G, or HSPA device, it will work at those speeds on the network.
I'm trying to figure out if a LTE 2100MHz device, will work at HSPA+ speeds on my carrier.
(Lumia 920 AT&T is cheaper than UK International model, so i'd get that if it works H+)

Samsung Galaxy S3 Hands-On:

Just got back from a client, had 2 Galaxy S 3 to setup.
Took that opportunity to get a 1hr hands on.
I must say, the GS3 hardware is SICK! The 4.8” Super AMOLED Display is gorgeous.
Build quality and materials is still Samsung, but its a lot better then the focus.
Typing on the device was brilliant, I was able to type just as fast and accurate as my HTC Titan.
Which is saying a lot because the titan with it’s 4.7” Screen and awesome windows phone keyboard rocks. So it was a pleasant surprise to see the typing and keyboard response on the GS3 was right up there with the best of them. The extreme ease and rapid fluidity of typing on large screens is just excellent, apple really needs to get off it’s high horse and provide something larger than 3.5”. (That doesn’t mean a vertically longer screen, it does nothing for typing *yawn* )

Navigation was also a pleasant surprise, the phone was a lot more smooth and responsive than previous android model’s I’ve used. There was still the “android lag” here and there, but overall a much much better experience than before.

I can see why a lot of people bought the GS3, its beautiful. It made me even pause for a second to consider the Samsung Ativ S, because that hardware with WP8 on it is going to be wicked sick as well.
But I paused ONLY for a moment, having already purchased the Lumia 920, and knowing it’s going to destroy the GS3 in design, build quality, and hardware features. But dam that 4.8” Super Amo did look extremely sexy. Will have to see how Puremotion HD+ holds up to it when my device finally gets here.

GG Samsung, no wonder you’re now the #1 Smarphone provider in the world, with 33% marketshare vs Apples 13.9, Boy how the mighty have fallen. Android market share is now 72.4%, JAH!
Heres to hoping WP8 puts up a better fight. Cause Sammy getting on bad.
