I estimate performance between 570 and 580 sli.

awww hellll yes. One of these in my Christmas time upgrade then maybe another a little later on.

Plenty of time to sit back and watch the fruits bear, full and get ripe and juicy hehe

AMD also have a dual gpu coming next month too i think

I know, but d way i watching it.

Nvidia Daul gpu - 2*580
AMD Dual - 2 * 6970

and seeing that a single 580 slightly outperforms a 6970 in more of d tests.
D edge mite be to nvidia, pending power/heat/price

Absolute waste of money regardless of performance.

These cards are supplanted too quickly by newer models, and only make sense if you're willing to spend about a thousand US more on a monitor that can maximise their use.

I didnt upgrade my machine christmas gone, cause it absolutely pointless right now.
My rig stil runign everything max comfortably.

And i not planing on upgrading no time soon, unless those new games coming out:

Rage/Crysis 2 etc, is too much fuh meh 30" monitor.

But seeing as those games are made to run on consoles as well, mite be all beside d point.

Shud be sitting safe for ah while anyways.
Dis may actualy be d longest lasting machine i ever build lol.

Gaming is at a standstill in graphical enhancement.
Devs focusing more on new ideas and gameplay concepts and mechnics. Which is a good thing. Mite be ah while again, till d next graphical breakthrough, and crysis 2 doesnt look like that.

You're right, it's not much, i'd wager 10USD more much :p Thing is ALL these cards are placed EXACTLY where they SHOULD be... I made an indept analysis of the pricing vs. performance and things are as they should be, as a consumer it's a good thing, as Arc put it, see what competition does do!

You now finding that out.I'm not hating AMD but i just stick to what i know that works good (driver wise).Maybe my next pc i build I'll use a AMD card

it's about 1" longer than the 570 i heard .It's not meant for mid-tower cases.

EVGA only bring that card out because EVGA fans asked for it on the EVGA forums.

i wonder how long the 590 going to be?

Found this on OCN ...they claim that the 590 will have a 10% performance advantage over the AMD 6990...but check out the amount of power it needs...FAIL on that front.

I don't know if you guys saw this baby yet but on the evga site they they claim performance that surpasses the GTX 580 :S

I really hope it does...this mite be my next upgrade.
