60Hz is boring, look for 120Hz or higher!!!

60Hz is decent enough for his needs.. 120Hz, 240Hz and up are all gimmicks. Manufacturers deliberately include this flash/awe specs to fool consumers into buyin their product. the reason behind this is because LCDs are notorious for image tearing. Especially when watchin a source with fast scenes. e.g. sports. a way to compensate for this, they increased the refresh rate of the tv... but realistically, one can hardly notice (if ever) the difference between 60Hz and 120Hz or higher. All LCD tv include some sort of smoothing effect to effectively compensate for the tearing..

I use a 40" HDTV for everything. I noticed some slight ghosting in Mafia II alone, only in very dark areas, other than that it looks great.

It is a 120hz set but the graphics card dont seem to be able to push 120hz so it defaults @60. Everything looks good, no complaints for games, tv, movies etc.
