Amazing piece of sci fi this. A little slow to get going but not to be missed if you a fan of Halo or sci fi in general.

And yes....they most definitely can make a Halo movie that would pwn based on what was seen in this mini series.

Oh...so that's what the soldiers with the strange eyes were?   Elite?   Tell me more.

Which Halo game were they in?


Yeah...not a Halo fan, but I am a sci-fi fan, and this miniseries flipped ALL the right switches. 

Boss addition to Halo lore, and surprisingly sharp. 
It actually made me WANT to play Halo 4...BADLY.

...and y'all thought only Bungie could do Halo?
Looks like 343 have it in good hands.

Yeah boy, they come good.

The soldiers in the end, in the Pelican dropship, who took off their helmets, were also Spartans. Same as Master Chief. Kelly (87) and Frederick (104) to be precise. It has been suggested that some Spartans eyes change color during the super soldier augmentation process.

Of course, we never see the chief take off his helmet. He hasn't throughout the entire game series.

The Elite were the warriors carrying the plasma sword that attacked the training academy. The ones that could cloak.


The big beast at the end is a hunter. A walking tank.

 Real pain in the ass to kill if you're by yourself. Easy as pie to mince up if you're doing it co-op. One distract, other kill him from behind (where they do not have armor, you'd think they'd fix that by now. lol)

Ah yes...I certainly remember the Hunters.

The Arbiter from Halo 2 was an Elite, right?

What I liked about   H4:FUD, is that IMHO it had  a very Battlestar Galactica (2004-2009) feel to it,the shaky doc cam style for the battle scenes,it being filmed in Vancouver at the University there, the actors who played, General Black,the Doctor, Colonel Lasky and the older Lasky all starred in BSG. I'm gonna get the Blu -ray version, I hope its gonna be the extended version, Like the H4: Limited ed. which includes a code to redeem and download the extended version

What always impressed me in the HALO games was that you can see which movies,TV series and books in  which influenced it  (e.g : Starship Troopers, ALIENS, Babylon 5. Larry Niven's Ringworld)
 They take those influences, make it their own , but  wear them like badges of honor.
