i think i will do like berzerk and wait for steam sale.. i had pre-ordered it but realised i wont have the time to play it right now and cancel... so sale ftw...

I'm beginning to see a trend in the reviews though.

People are panning the game because it is easier and more accessible than before.

I can understand why (they complain) but also why the developers went this route.

It will definitely cater better to the console masses.

As soon as I've got some time (vacation), will still get this. I'm sure it will be just fine, once you keep that in mind and don't expect a typical old school PC RPG experience a la Baldur's Gate.

my main issue with these rpgs are the TON of dlcs that come out. then come end of year there is a package with all the dlc bundled. for fricking half the price.

fallout 3 was one, witcher was another, there is also a bargain deal with dragon age (not on steam tho)


also seeing EA store and other sites having some extremely tempting deals. like steam getting competition.

anyone tried this www.cdkeyhouse.com place? it seems legit and dragon age 2 is 32.00. keys linked to EA store though.

I used cdkeyhouse to buy several games already. sf4, orange box, bc2, etc over a couple years.

Only prob I had was bc2. After a few months I reformatted my pc. When I entered the key again EA said it was rejected. When I spoke to them they said they do not accept keys not sold by them or through official means (steam etc). They said cdkeyhouse was not offical.

After I spoke to cdkeyhouse about it I bought bc2 for steam. Cdkeyhouse then gave me another key anyway so I sold that to a friend and no prob for him since.

I will be kind of cautious when buying EA games from them though as when my issue happen EA did not recognise them as an official. I don't know if that was thoroughly sorted out since. They do have nice deals for pre-orders though.

The DLCs don't bother me much since I don't ever play 'em (aside from those that come bundled with the deluxe version of the game). I think of it as a nickel and dime scheme. lol

BC2 gave me some stress with the cdkey when I reinstalled windows recently but it turned out I was using the wrong email account. Apparently, once you use the same email account it remembers the key attached and doesn't even prompt for one.

Now dat's a game! I finally finish! That story had me engrossed from the beginning. Really really great, can't wait for the next installment!
