I hadda big up Mez dey, he was controlling my units while I pumped out the backup lol

It seems that his very aggressive nature and my build up in base nature works well together.

We hit bronze after placement but after we first match jump from rank 62 to 10 :P

Now i'm not sure how this will fare in smaller games, but i've been playing around with diff strats recently and during 4v4 games, (even 2v2 to an extent) this combo has seemed to fare pretty well. Collossi and archons. I'm not exactly sure 'why' they do so well. but I've done it a few times, and once you get to around 4-5 of each? your army is pretty good vs most things. the archons high dmg output is great for reducing incoming air units, we all love the collossi dmg+range.
I'll post some replays giving examples. But its basically 2 gate, robo, early expand, 4 gate, 2nd robo etc etc. Fun to play and depending on if u get Dark or High templars, the previous form can be quite effective as well. psi storm/cloaking. Fantastic for getting rid of pesky mutas :) or mass bioball.

Here we see another example of "i think" a rather well played version of how to go collossi+archons. I went str8 to Dt's.. and then di the collosi after. It's all relative if you wanna play around with it be my guest.
I know the major weakness to this is one well placed EMP. But usually by the time the game has reached this point and no ghosts are present Its usually too late anyway.

----
NB though. Dont go for both at the same time, you will NOT have the gas for it.

This is definitely the mostfun i've had in 3v3 for ages. we pretty much used ALL the minerals on the map. it was exciting, a lot of back and forth. Epic battles. I wont say who won, but it was HELLA FUN! :)

That archon/colossi combo did wonders tho. Too bad the enemy terran didnt switch to maruaders to counter them.. or hell vikings for the fun of it. Shows the level of skill those guys were in no being able to adjust to the changes. Bigger is not always better in the art of craft ^_^

I have been experimenting with that archon collosi ball. Its quite effective in my experience. need a few 'fodder units' and sentries, but once you have about 4-6 each, it becomes quite a formiddable force.
