well i play terran and protoss on the ladder... and i know i have a tough time sometimes beating terran opponents...

so as terran i cam across a nice Colosus timing push... (i wouldve feared better if i didnt block my base, but i woulda still loss)... neways i adopted that same push with variation for another game (when i play toss) and it faired pretty well...
check them out

well YES!! i do believe i have played against my first map hacker!!
was on a 7 game winning streak, reach third in my silver league and feeling good
run up on a zerg, which is usually no scene for me.

Then i get stomped all over, and i take my loss and say well wow, lemme learn how this zerg man do this, now watching the replay, i go wait.... something odd here.

Man never scout, not once, but knew where my base was with his horde of lings
then the really damning part, was, i had a probe and a pylon in a corner behind them fog spots farrr away from his base, the man makes a beeline, straight from his base, with out ever scouting, way to the back of this other base in the fog and kills my pylon and probe, then run to intercept another probe in another part of map he has no vision of, never scouted, has no units waiting...
Rewatched it a couple times to confirm
this HAS to be a map hack.

Yea crixx i concur as well after studin the replay.

He knew where you were most of the time. That beeline to the back of a random base sell him out...he didnt even scout the other bases on the way lol.

An having that advantage he ambushed you well at the end...you walked right into a trap...he knew exactly where u were and where he wanted you to be b4 he attacked.

hmm doh study it tho it happens.

Yes indeed....fuss u know he was cheatin when u follow his camera he wasnt even focused on his zerglings when it happen because he knew exactly where to send them, he was still macro'in in his main base, after the melee is when he focused on them.

Phoenix, that build is a wicked one for PVT.

Your execution was perfect. I like how you incorporate the expansion. Very well played.

I have to try that one yes.

One question, why you have all your hotkeys assigned to the nexus???

as for crixx,

Didn't look like the guy was cheating to me. He attacked the wrong base with his mass of lings (and happened across your pylon there by share chance)

He found your base on the second attempt.

What's noob of him, is that he didn't scout with a drone. Guess he thought he needed all men on deck to defend against your protoss.

I'm surprised he won, cause going lings against the antimage would be guaranteed death since the vray hits at the 6 minute mark.

He'd have been slaughtered and cooked in his own juices.

Why did you leave him alone for so long?? Man got about 4 bases.

sorry crixxx... i concur with wyatt... he happened upon that lone pilot and his micro is week thats why he didnt move to his zerglings until after they killed the pilot...

i was following his camera whole game and not once did he browse over to your base or any other "dark spot"... if he was hackin he would be constantly looking @ areas of activity normally covered by the fog...

@ wyatt... its an old habit from playin as terran.. i assign all the hotkeys cuz sometimes in the heat of battle you find a cloaked unit or you want to make a scan on high ground pronto... so i just click a number press C and click the area... it avoids the mistake of misclicking another group and causing something disastrous lol... no reason really for it when playin toss doh jus habit

no, i would have concurred with you at first about him stumbling upon it eh
but the man did not scout once
did not check any other place except where i was

and if you look at the replay, he didnt send the lings in to scout the base with the pylon,
watch the game from his perspective not from the everyone view
and you see him select the lings and right click them exactly where the pylon and probe are
then he moves the lings to where i was sending my next probe, which again, he had no view of

and as for why i didnt attack sooner, i actually had to scout, and then send my men for him

again, look at it from his perspective and this man doesnt even send his overlords to scout expansions, just immediately sends them out and expands, never once looking up for the macro
constantly on his micro, who the hell does that?

i only watched it from his perspective... and it was very noob...

the lings was a scout.... the fact that he saw ur prob comin from that direction gave away ur real position... but the first set of lings was him "scouting"....

you aint realise he jus press attack and go... as i was sayin.. if he was hackin.. he wouldve constantly been on the map watchin dark areas... to see exactly what you building... plus with that many lings... he coulda take out ur base long time.. why bother with a lonesome pylon :)... what you shouldve done when u see the pylon ded was to get a couple of sentries.. to nulify those lings while u build lots

I'm getting issues with playing older replays, so I'm just going to upload blind. If this is the right replay then I had a brilliant zerg partner while I did some very dumb things (like forgetting cloak on the shees). Transitioned into BC's and thats all she wrote. I was #1 silver random 2v2 when I played this game.

yeah, that zerg player was pretty hard core tiger. He went all out with those roaches. Surprised he did as much damage with that one dimensional strat.

You mopped up nicely with those BCs. gg

Redfish, you played like platinum level in that game yes. Many times I thought you guys were toast.

Mez was his usually aggressive self. vgg.
