Just finished watching this. Can't understand the hate some people are giving it.
I thought this was a solid movie, telling a simple story about Rome's Ninth Legion.
The best thing was the violence. This movie was BRUTAL. Very, very brutal. Violence so good that not even 15mins into the movie, my eyes were already welling up with tears. Definitely worth a watch.

Hmm saw this at a local torentoplex and thought it looked like rubbish, might take this in based on ur review tho. Tell me are we talkin 300/Spartacus level violence?

Watched it earlier...yes, I went against my better judgement, and shee-it, am I glad I did.

To the OP, apologies...I pre-judged and nearly miss out on a WICKED piece of film-making.
Who buyin the bbq sauce...because this is ONE time I am GLAD to EAT my words. 


This movie was balls deep, sword-thrust to the HILT with action. I never see so much chop, stab,
and lash pass in the space of 1 hr and 33 mins.


If crate of swords, was to mate with a TORNADO.....this movie would be the result. 
That is ALL I'm willing to say at this point.


GET IT NAAOOOWWWW!!!
