I'm really liking what I'm hearing about this movie so far. Boobs in 3D...really sounds like it'll make for an awesome lime.

I am not ashamed to say I went to Globe to see this...hell yeah beetches it was doubled with The Expendables...and I have never seen the original by Joe Dante nor the sequel to that by James Cameron (which was considered the worst movie he created...but thankfully after making The Terminator he's a director in God mode) but I was wildly entertained by this boob and bloodfest from the first frame to the last.
The movie was very cheesy but it was a smart piece of swiss cheese, and the scares and suspense were definetely evident. I won't reveal any plot details...even though it's blatantly there on wikipedia...but somehow Alexandre Aja (director, Mirrors and The Hills Have Eyes FIRST remake) found a way to yet again capture my attention in this visceral gorefest. While the fish visuals looked pretty lame, the level of makeup and cgi gore made up for that in a big Resident Evil 5/ Doom 3 way. This movie defined the way I look at jumping in a lake or the theory of re-evolution, which was simultaneously effective and horrifying. There were numerous characters that I was rooting for and some which I wished didn't die...but with Alexandre Aja directing this...there is no such thing as "the star of the show never dies". That type of logic does not appear in this film.
I recommend this as a good popcorn movie, with some rediculous humor and some intense graphic violence...and also...jeez and ages, I have never seen such uber hotties since this carnival Monday and Tuesday 2K10...

Well, I saw this in 3D @ Trincity.

The quality of the 3D was top notch. Complimented the movie and added to the fun. Recommended, I believe the movie is meant to be seen this way.

I must say, while Inception is the best movie I've seen this year so far, this movie was the most FUN (well, this or Kick-Ass lol).
The crowd loved it. That underwater "ballet" scene was hilarious and hot at the same time lol.
This was kind of entertainment that Snakes on a Plane tried (and failed) to provide.

It didn't matter that the fish looked obviously CG, I thought it added to the cheeziness. That lake massacre was EPIC.

Overall a solid movie focusing on killer fish and hot women - what more could I ask for? Movies like this usually turn out crappy, so it's a real treat when they're done right. Ideal flick for a lime.

rated 10/10...best 35 bucks I spent this year.

totally agree with the reviews

a fun campy romp

Thought the movie didn't have much of a scare factor but they caught me with the last scene, lol. jump immc.

What it lacked in fear, it definitely made up for in other departments.
