The movie looking really cool. I would watch this JUST for Seth Rogen. he's a kick arse actor!
He looked skinnier here though..I heard he was exercising for this role or something

It looks entertaining but in a comical kinda way. I guess Hollywood getting tired of badass superhero movies.

Not really understanding the hate for 3D. It is pretty cool when done properly. Anyone care to explain what about 3D is bugging them? I mean, just because it's available in 3D doesn't mean you HAVE to see it in 3D. Personally I'll only watch a movie 3D if the reviews say it's amazing. If not, there's the regular version. No harm done.

Now lets get one thing clear since it seems to bother alot of ppl. These reviews state that the film is not straight up comedy or a serious CBM. It's a mix of both. It looks like fun to me. I'll find out for myself Tuesday and report back.

Saw this movie tonight and it is awesome. Also managed to watch the whole day marathon of the tv show on syfy last week.

I knew going in that this wasn't gonna be the Green Hornet ppl remember from the tv show mainly bcuz of the comedy element they added to it. For the first half of the film I was starting to think maybe they added a little too much comedy into it and i admit i was starting to get slightly annoyed . This is all changed during the 2nd half where things got more serious in tone. The movie boasts great action scenes and visual style courtesy of the director Michel Gondry.There were also a lot of nods to the tv show. Must also mention that Kato stole the show, go figure

So if you're looking for a movie with summer spectacle at this time in the year The Green Hornet would be it. For fans of the tv show approach it with an open mind as its a weird mix of tones but overall enjoyable. 6.5/10

NB: Its also surprisingly violent. Closeups of ppl getting crushed and blown up.

Nothing you said there actually makes me want to PAY to see this. As someone who is old enough to have actually enjoyed this on TV as a youngster, I've already formed an opinion about this movie based on what I've seen.

...and the only thing that could have planted my butt in that cinema seat is if they had casted Jet Li as Kato.

I am one who definitely will not ever have an open mind where this movie is concerned. Hollywood needs to made to understand that not EVERYTHING needs to be remade. I thought they learned this from GI Joe.
