Well, Mortal Kombat in did start this gore scenario way back in 1993, so it's only fit that they "up the ante" when it comes to gore.

Played it anyway, feels good so let's hope it's a winner.

yeah, sometime with all the noise they make over blackops and bulletstorm with violence, you forget the forefathers like Mortal Kombat that set the bar for blood and gore in games.

I certainly have not forgotten the violence on MK back in the 90s...

I'm just saying that the new standard they set with his game is just too much for me, even if I expecting it...

Agreed. It never really felt violent, perhaps because the violence is so cartoony.

Sax if you find this game violent then you should never ever play God of War 3.

Yea the violence in this is very cartoony I mean juggling ppl with combos and blasting them with special attacks. All it really feels like to me is classic MK that got upgraded.

correct at arcman... also every character have insane combos like that if you good enough to pull it off...

broken to me means that you can jus pick one or a couple of characters and dominate anybody you play against... or that it is significantly imbalanced...

which i have not seen thus far

p.s. not to mention in that video the guy fighting against a static opponent, which means no combo breakers (yes the game has combo breakers), so no you cant perma juggle/perma combo anybody

it win. I finally have another worthy MK game to play after UMK3....
trilogy was nice but UMK3 is king.
def. gonna get me the Kollectors Edition.

Breakers were present in older titles that were horribly broken to the point where it made people ask if they play tested at all. Every MK has been broken, ALL, this is why no one really took it seriously besides the casual crowd who were wowed by the blood, gore and shoddy gameplay.

This videos sums up why I will not be buying MK until they prove that they actually tested the game, they've had 9 chances to show that they have a clue and even though I love UMK3 they've failed pretty hard on all accounts since then.

Oh, wow. But doesn't that move cause a little pushback if you get hit fully by it? It also seems like you can duck under it between hits, also.

EDIT: Bluh. I think they must have tried that. Here's to hoping for a fix.
