As best I know WarOne, Oriot and 1 other trini on. Just dropping into random games, so whoever wha sweat check dem. As for Oriot joining gatt, I told him to, but he's on his own beat so he'll reach when he feel like it.

@Spartan, the PC version not as smooth as 360.... O_O *blank stare*... that SHOULD NOT HAPPEN, but hey wha yuh go do, if GOW on the PC was a successful as on 360 they would have ported GOW2 on PC too... seeing as they didn't why would they put extra effort into de-buggin the 1st installment.

I am 'acquiring' GOW as we type, but it kinda slow... after that i'll see how I could make it to the sweat.

Na wintry when I say it not as smooth, I mean wallbouncing, the cover system a lil glitchy and more sticky but it's only noticeable when wall bouncing to the left, sometimes you would bounce, press d trigger but u wouldnt shoot and on top of that be stuck there for a sec which normally equals death. D ppl right handed so sliding to the right works nicely. Also, you can't wallbounce and shoot at weird angles like how you could on 360 without pausing for a bit or aiming. Otherwise everything is more or lessd same I believe

Yup^^ Had a sweat with Oriot and WarOne tonight with Problemsolver jumping in the latter half

We were running around in some random games and kept getting disconnected (I coulda swear some spanish fellas type in a game after I snipe a man head off that I was a hacker in spanish lol) but then I decided to host a match

Well all of a sudden Nyxfirefly(moi) was hitting men kills all kinda how with all the weapons. Yes I was killing ppl with ease, I was wondering wtf going on cause I actually was beating Problemsolver in head to head shotgun madness

I got 35 or more fricking kills!!! So I am convinced that hosting has a HUGE advantage in this game or is that blink does jus play d ass when it ready. I am still shocked because I had no complaints like I would usually have when not hosting. All in all it was still fun.

me and redfish now test him being d host, and one thing was confired, lag up d ying yang. i think tstt is balls.
When problemslrv host i never get dat kinda lag. Lag such as this:

I pickup rocket launcher, and it was stil saying machine gun, 30 seconds later, d missle launcher appear in my hand.
I fightin redfish upstairs, and i end up dead downstairs, but he execute me upstairs lol.
I down redfish, and waitin for him to get up, i press fire right at d apex like i usual do, and some how, my charater explode, although on my screen he stil getin up.

Dat was not normal lag boy, dat was super lag. lol.
So if dies d kinda thing redfish does be seeing on his side, dat is terapy.

We shall do some more lag testin tomrow with various host, and see wah madness is dis.
But i knwo ofr sure, when slrv host, i wasnt lagin like that.

Mezziah, wall bouncing is just when u slide to cover, shoot and come off quickly (1 or multiple times) or slide to cover, come off quickly by holding back and then shoot (aim or blindfire). It's a offensive/defensive tech, not too hard to learn difficult to master. What I meant by shooting angle is in gears u can aim faster than the turning animation so sumtimes i cud slide to a wall, and while sliding turn d camera around and shoot although my body facing the next way. when the angle a lil awkward it can stick if u dont time it properly resulting in death most of the time lol

hey fellas... i remembered while playing Gears over hamachi.. we would check our ping to the Host to see how much "shit" we would really play lol. It just hit me that we probably need to start doing this in order to find the best host or maybe if we need to adjust settings to suite to accommodate.

So hear goes.
When we connect to host bring up Console with ~ key (tilde)

To check ur ping = Bring up console and type Stat net

it shows a list of info about ur game and whatnot... (however stat net command..while onscreen u experience lag so i would advice checking it when game start ... discuss it... then close it back...) to close it u just retype d command again.



To check FPS = Bring up console and type Stat fps
Pretty straight forward... ( no need for FRAPS)

To reconnect to game open console and type reconnect
(notice none of d commands have " "... or any symbols for that fact...just straight commands)



@Messiaah + Redfish... i didnt experience dat kinda lag Messiah talkin bout.. it was crazy weird though... but it was as if i wasnt feelin it until i was in a dogfight ... but hey... everybody have to enjoy a lil host fun sometime... kudos Redfish.. u enjoy urself.. i couldnt make ah note...lol..

Im considering upgrading my ISP connection in order to try and compensate for d connection lag...

SO anyways... yea.. check out your stat when u ingame .. see how it runnin .. how ur lag lookin like a 999 ping then we can curse out one another for host rape...lol

The BEST you can hope for (as far as a level playing field goes) is to have a person with a GOOD internet connection (768k Upload or better) who's not the BEST or one of the better players. This negates the 'Host' advantage. So if lancerboy himself suzieboy had a GOOD internet connection and was host, then EVERYONE could experience comparative LAG and it'd even itself off. When Problem or Messiah or even oriot host that gives a decent player that little extra UMPH that makes the world of difference.

That all being said, DOES suzieboy have a decent internet? as far as hosting goes UPLOAD is more critical than download. Problems CLEARLY has the BEST host altogether, but that doesn't help balance out a team when he's host. So is there anyone else with a decent connection that isn't one of the better players?

^^ i was thinking something like that also, ah shitty man with ah good connection could host. d problem is, anybody in trinidad automaticaly have ah shit connection.
tstt is rel balls, and flow givin trouble dese days too.

I have 2  4/2 lines, being load balanced. so dats 4meg upload.

we need somebody wiht ah 15/2 flow line.

Suzieboy is in d US i think... so HOPEFULLY he experiencing first class internet like myself.. lol.. if he host.. that will be fair... so i agree with W1nTry... any one of us (mess, Me, Oriot, Spartan, Redfish host... ) is chaos and host advantage... although on my connection men dont get much lag... but we shall see how it works out.

So question regarding the directgamekeys site, Is BFBC2 also a GFWL game? or do I have to stick to DOW2, GOW, etc. ? I'm not sure i'll make much use of DOW2 with SC2 coming out so soon... where can I get a list of GFWL that will work with GOW?
