aight.. just to make myself clear.. for yet another time... i have no problems with the ssd performance, and i have no doubt that ssd's are the future... the future.. which means not now.. but later...
1. you make a good case with the power of the 80gb but not i was referring to a 300GB which is the new standard in data centers,
2. lets be real.. no one in their right mind is gonna replace 80gb sas drives for 80gb ssd drives for power... they will make that switch when upgrading.. which means 80 > something much more.
and again please.. no one is hating on ssd... we all love ssd's performance and design.. its the price we have a problem with.
