lol the talk around town is.. bb rules because of bbm... waw... u can only tlk to ur friends that have bb's... whereas.. u can dl msn for ANY fone and tlk to ANY body.. sigh

Yeah pretty much, but for some reason it is catching on and use seems to be growing, aggressive marketing that's for sure. Only time will tell if this remains a fad or if it is here to stay.

i use msn on my phone, and when i driving, i does use voiceclips on msn, to voice chat, with whoever, on pc, other mobile phones, etc etc. msn mobile ftw.

Yeah funny how with an open platform such as msn that can be used on any mobile device, ppl still opt to use services such as bbm locked to the blackberry platform. Good marketing I suppose.

Yeah, well I've been on that BB train, and the ride was not always a smooth one.
I tend use use my phone as a 'tethered' modem a lot, and the BB 8310 I used was woefully
inept at the task, either by bluetooth or USB, which was one of the main reasons I got rid
of it, and went right back to good ol Nokia.

My E71 can do anything a blackberry does, and possibly a little more too.

I am very sorry...Nokia has 'spoiled' me over the years, so my next phone will be either
this N8, or a N900, once the price is right.  If I can't shoot that high, then there's always the E72.

Yeah true, though things may have improved since. Some people told me they tether all the time with BB, though I dunno how the data limits work on there. Seems like there is also paid software that can accomplish that task like  http://www.tether.com/

I would not pay for software like that though.
