Lets see; we have a movie spawned from the original Jason Bourne series, we have Jeremy Renner, Edward Norton, some brief but cool looking espionage action with apparently no excessive CGI and then there's director Tony Gilroy who directed Michael Clayton (very badass movie) count me in I watching this milawds
I found this film to be almost mediocre actually...and I love the Bourne trilogy, with Identity being my favorite. Renner gives a good performance as Cross, but I found his character to be far less interesting than Jason Bourne himself. The movie starts off so slow, and scenes involving Cross and some other guy in a cabin had me wondering if this movie was actually Brokeback Mountain 2 in disguise. Then there is the writing in this movie. The original three movies had great scripts with interesting dialogue. Some of the dialogue in this film was actually unintentionally funny. And the ending...oh lawd...was more or less Identity's ending in a different setting. The action, while decent, wasn't quite on the level of the original films. Let's be honest, Cross vs. that Larx guy was nowhere near as awesome as Bourne vs. Desh in Ultimatum. On a more positive note, the movie does feature a great looking Rachel Weisz. She is aging rather gracefully.Recommendation - wait for the Blu-ray rip
