When Red could make those kinda figures in a game with Captain Awesome, Redfish, Red Paradox, etc... then and only then we'll accept those scores as valid. lol

said it many times and did it many times beatin ppl using the fragfx on ps3
what u use dont determine skill
just cause u on kb an mouse does not and i say it for the last time does not automatically make u a better fps player than someone using a controller

kb+m dont make u smarter, doesnt improve ur decision making (then again most trinis i have seen have poor decision making anyway)

and here is a fun fact: already beaten mouse users on ps3s and they were by no means n00bs

I consider myself an average player so if a good cntrler wielding man cant beat me, the best cntrler player have a snowball's chance of beating a top tier kb+m player.

Fully agreed one doesnt become automatically smarter with kb+m but it DOES allow a player to translate his brain power into in-game actions quicker and more precisely. I dont think anyone ever claimed that kb+m is magical tool where u can put it in the hands of a baby and have him rinse out a seasoned cntrler user. Not sure why you trying to argue an opinion that nobody expressed.


All we are saying is that if you pit a godlike cntrler player in the console FPS arena against a best of the best kb+m player in the pc FPS space, that console man is GOING to get smacked all the way back to the time that fps game was bought so he can buy it on the  superior platform that fps was born and bred on.

I made a dumb analogy last night, but there was meaning behind it.
"What's the difference if someone can drive a forklift better than you can walk?"
Nothing, there is no difference because they aren't related, it does mean however, that the forklift driver excels at using his tool to do the job he has to do, it says nothing about your walking skill!

That being said, if the man can use his controller to do his job well, it says nothing about your ability to use your mouse and keyboard... It's how you perform in game that counts.

oh and berserk, if you really wanna give redlum a run for his money, is best you play it on a netbook using the trackpad. Or better yet, a macbook air. Now THAT should make for a level playing field. lol

If we could get 4-5 good console players against 4-5 good PC players for a proper stand off, that would be awesome.

I say kb+m is the forklift, controller is 4 men trying to shelf a palette of crix.

The point is, they are both methods of accomplishing the same thing, one just more efficient than the other. I doh care if them 4 men are the best palette men in the world, they will never be able to be more efficient than a good forklift.

It is funny that there is the whole "which one is better" argument, yall do realize that pc players will say k&m superior while console players will prefer controllers. As I keep asking, if someone has more fun playin on a particular platform then what is the problem? Last time I checked we play games for fun, does type of controller, sitting position, meal before game, type of socks really matter? lol. Some enjoy cranking up graphics to the max and customization, others just like uniformity and quick games with friends.

I know for me, many of my friends are not technically inclined and doh wanna spend a set of money on a PC. I am glad there are consoles because of that, allows us to play games online easily. So no in that case pc gaming is not superior for the less technically inclined :p They definitely prefer the controller lol.
