Launch Trailer Coming Sunday

The Launch Trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops will come this Sunday! Plus, the European PC versions are banned in Germany.

We're just two days away until the launch trailer for Black Ops. Strangely enough, launch trailers don't tend to appear online until a few days before release, but Black Ops is different.

According to JD_2020 on twitter », the trailer will air during the Steelers-Saints NFL game on Sunday, which is over a week before the game launches worldwide.

The trailer wasn't specifically labeled as a Single Player campaign trailer, and with Sunday being Halloween, could we perhaps get the first official look at Zombies? Either way, let's hope that we're in for a treat rather than a trick!

Although there's much to look forward to, German PC fans may not be excited as much. A report from PCGames » tells us that the European PC version of the game has been banned in Germany.

This means that Steam will only authorize localized versions of the game. Germany are known for their tough censorship laws, and with some things likely being cut and toned down in Black Ops, they appear to be trying to restrict bypassing the censorship as much as possible.

So for those German PC fans that want to import the game from other European countries, you'll have to think again.
