Just droping to say hi... and to Thanks Triniwyatt, notnice, cpt awesome (i need to get your shotting skills) for re-introducing me to GATT...  have known of it exist for years.. since back in the day of getting my ass wash from Triniwyatt in SC1 in 2000 or 2001..

I am tech junkie.. .. is there a subscription fee for GATT ?? Is it possible that i can donate to the BC2 server ?

Main games i play are  Heroes of Newerth,CNC series, BC2, dota, starcraf1 and starcraft 2.... I prefer the PC gaming platform since i believe is SUPERiOR to consoles ...

Yes you may donate to the GATT BC server.. but right now us admins have it covered.

MAybe that kinda gusto could be used for further servers we may bring online.

PS my system is dying .. so i cant bench it till i get a new system.. hopefully within the next few months or hopefully weeks aiming at a hexa-core with 12 or 24gb of ram and tri-sli 480gtx

what would you need that much ram for?
You use lots of vms or do lots of graphic work?

there are times i do video editing.... and even working with after effects i run into memory errors

plus with 24gb of ram i can nicely play all my games and still have my dreamweaver and photoshop open

yu can do that with 8 gigs of ddr 2

Yeah if you just have it open with A small image (by small i mean anything at 72dpi). Judging from the programs he listed, it unlikely that he would be using it in the same way you would.

I was telling my pardner about building my next machine with 24gb of ram for AFX and watch me like I crazy. 4gb of ram per core will be wondrous. I was listening a podcast the other day and AFX product manager was saying he just build a machine with 96gb of ram to test AFX CS5.

I agree...even as an owner of every next gen console (ps3, 2 wiis and an xbox 360) most of my gaming takes place on the good old PC.
