the hate on the previous page was in reference to MW2.Not MW3.I think the "debate" should have its own thread. This is a hype/launch thread. Not a fight down thread as it has degenerated into.Clean up on aisle 5.
These guys are at it again .... and they did it just gr8
All those who want to buy Modern Warfare 3, buy it.All those who want to buy Battlefield 3, buy it.All those who buying both, buy them.If they disappoint, they disappoint. The end.
Less I place ppl in the VI category let's get back to the topic at hand. After watching the last few matches I have to say it looks SMOOTH, like butter and from what I can gather as fast paced as MW2. With the added number of objects on the screen maintaining 60FPS on the same hardware used 5 years now isn't a walk in the park so I do give sledgehammer a thumbs up. Also this IS their first COD title so picking up another's code and making it better does deserve credit. I will reserve my final judgement till I have hands on. I wasn't too thrilled a listening to whoever those guys were that were commentating, but to be fair it was nothing different than watching the FIFA World Cup on an american station... they are patriotic to a FLAW...I will be getting this title as it has improvements over the previous iterations that I want to put through the paces, particularly the change in streak system for objective based games and kill confirmed which reminds me of crysis 2 somewhat. Also i've heard the sounds is greatly improved and that isn't something you can gauge till you're hearing it yourself. Refinement yes, quality yes, innovative verdict out.Just a quick word for all those that are only preaching 'nothing new' do you drink the same coffee or tea every morning for the past 10 years? do you still enjoy your favourite meal on a sunday prepared by a close relative? Do you still like a certain football club by virtue of their title regardless of the players that changed? Do you still like an FPS over a 3rd Person? or love your RTS and RPG? Do you still breath Air?If your answer to any of the questions above is YES, I suggest you try something more innovative like LANNATE instead of coffee, concrete nails instead of your favourite foods, a game of plain old 3D chess in woodbrook playground and Sulphuric acid instead of air, cause clearly if the ONLY thing you looking for is innovation in games, you CLEARLY need to 'innovate' the rest of your life to stop you from having NOTHING better to do than say 'meh'.And yes further derailment WILL be lost in the confines of the recycle bin, have a great day
So this is where we reach...where a game cannot be critiqued now? 'Gramazone' W1nTry? Really?I aint check dey for you of all people. I don't like the direction your last post there is going.I shall continue to reserve the right to comment for or against on this game, respectfully of course,as I see fit.
